Worst night in a hotel I have ever had

Drunks screaming and yelling all night long. Management did nothing to stop the problem. I checked out at 4:00 AM. Never slept a wink. I will never stay at a La Quinta ever again in my life.

Pros: The bed!!
Location: Great location! Cracker Barrel within walking distance.
Hotel seemed very old. Bed was very comfortable. Only there for a night so was ok. Traveling through.

Right off I-10 .. but Dirty and in Need of Repair

Pros: Right off the Interstate
Cons: Everything really. It was very disappointing.
Location: We were there to watch our Grandson play the Spring Football game at FSU. It wasn't very close to the school, at all. But, that wasn't a problem.
The room was clean, but the paint was pealing, the bathroom so small you couldn't turn around in it. Shower spray nozzle was below my shoulders and I am only 5' 6" tall. It needs major overhauling, both inside and out. The parking lot was a maze. Steps, from sidewalks to the parking lots, had no railings! Tricky for the elderly, with knee replacements. Never could find the coffee in the breakfast room. Won't be staying there again. Other places priced the same are much nicer.

Great Location, Needs a Little Paint

Location: Very close to every place I needed to go.
Needs a little upkeep in rooms, at least mine. The bathroom was tiny. The staff were excellent, friendly, and helpful: front desk, housekeeping, and especially the breakfast hostess!

Antiquated, dirty, and in need of repair.

The hotel is old, which it ok, however, it is need of serious repair and cleaning. Th LE lobby is dingy and dirty, the "breakfast" area is small and is also in serious need of legitimate cleaning. The tables had food stains and other unidentifiable stains on the them and the so called breakfast consisted of a plain bagel, 2 different boxes cereal, boiled eggs and apples. It left a lot to be desired. The room was not that bad, it did need additional cleaning however. The walls were covered in dust or dirt and all metal surfaces were rusted and in need of repair. The shower was small and built for a 4ft person not 6ft tall. The shower would not turn off all th way, which did not aide in sleep and would run onto the floor creating a significant pool of water, which ran into the adjacent sink area that had to be cleaned every morning. Overall, I would NOT stay here again!!

Problem

I ordered a handicapped room as I am recovering from a fractured ankle and torn muscle. They put me in a regular room ( I didn't get the key), so I couldn't shower at all. The bathroom was too small. The bed was uncomfortable.

I have reviewed the details of what happened that evening, and it seems there were some mix-ups. Unfortunately, no room type is ever guaranteed with any hotel. We do our absolute best to accommodate our wonderful guests but it is not always possible to meet 100% of everyone's requests. We do have in our notes that you were given a King room that evening but then did not like the room, and asked to be moved again.

Older hotel

Older facility in need of renovation; it was relatively clean but bathroom ceiling had evidence of leaks, floors looked worn.

Comfortable and Convenient

Pros: The front desk staff were personable and efficient. They offered a menu for a suggest restaurant and provided clear directions to various places.
Cons: The room door key card did not work properly; other guests had difficulty too. There were no trays in the breakfast area to carry coffee to the room.
Location: Tallahassee, FL- Picnic and walk Alfred B Maclay Gardens St. Park,Tallahassee Nurseries is fabulous! We shop Trader Joe's for goodies to take home.
The room was a basic king, no microwave or refrigerator, which was fine since we had a cooler. Never cared much for listening to a fridge going on and off all night anyhow. The A/C was quiet and worked well. The location was right where we needed to stay on Thomasville Rd. at I-10, with Monroe St. close by.
