Even though there was construction going on, the room itself was very clean and we were able to park in front near our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will return and recommend.

I did not like the furnishing, and the fact that we were put in a handicap room which I did not request. The bathroom in the handicap room had very little counter space. The only chair in the room was extremely uncomfortable and the bench seating was on the same wall as the TV, therefore not an option to sit in to watch TV.

Thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately, some of our cheaper options include the handicap rooms. If this mix up ever happens again in the future, please immediately notify the front desk that you are not in need of a handicap room and we will gladly relocate you to one of our standard rooms free of charge, which does have more counterspace in the bathroom. We do also offer deluxe rooms with ample seating and lounging areas as well as dining room tables for gaming and eating, and are not much more in price. We hope to see you next time you make your way to the McCall area!

Friendly staff, clean hotel, huge hot tub, and good pool. We stayed in a newly renovated room that was very comfortable. Beds and pillows were very comfortable also. Would definitely stay again. Only improvement could be a few more options at breakfast, however, breakfast was still pleasant.

We were traveling through during a blizzard and decided to stop. This hotel was one of few avaliable but we chose it based on the exterior and interior pictures which looked decent. Staff at check in was super friendly and professional. She seemed excited to put us in the section of the hotel which was newly renovated. The room itself was decent. After looking around a bit, i started noticing they probably went with the cheapest bid when they did the renovation. This finish work was not great, you could see the subfloor exposed around the edges of the bathroom (usually hidden by baseboards.) We took turns getting in the shower, the water was not hot at all. Pretty disappointing since we were looking forward to a nice hot shower after running in from a literal blizzard. The sliding glass door would not stay shut, it rolled open on its own, probably due to not being level. The bathroom door also needed to be forced shut in order for the latch to catch the plate. About 6 am, one of our neighbors decided it was time to play... basketball??? in their room. I couldn't isolate which room the noise was coming from, otherwise i would've had some things to say to the occupants. The basketball issue was obviously on the guest, not on the hotel. However, i would've expected a newly renovated hotel to invest at least a little bit on sound proofing. When we checked out, the unfriendly front desk staff said the hot water heater is broken, and left it at that

Me and my 2 friends went for an overnight getaway and stayed here due to good ratings. However, we went to the indoor pool where there were a couple other people. We noticed a few people come and approach the door, saw us and walked away. A couple minutes later the receptionist comes in and told us to we had to leave because we had our breasts out - we were too stunned to speak. We have reputable careers and would never do that…the only other difference was that the 3 of us were all of different ethnicities and it felt like we were racially profiled. When one of my friends said outloud while walking how crazy it was for them to falsely accuse us and it’d be sad if we get an attorney involved, the lady tells us “it’s nothing like that” and starts to freak out. My other complaint is there was no water bottles in the room and when I went downstairs to see if there’s a vending machine they said it’s not working and they only had 2 water bottles to give left…those are essentials!!! What kind of hotel doesn’t supply essentials, especially WATER?? Won’t be staying here again. Not worth the headache and disrespect.

Stayed here before and always like the property. Love the rustic decor in the lobby but not a fan of the newly remodeled modern decor in the room. Especially didn’t like that the only two chairs in the room weren’t very comfortable to try and relax and watch tv in.

Terrible internet speed.
Internet service terrible (less than 5Mbps speed). Water flow from faucet is a trickle. No closet in the rooms. Other than that, the renovated rooms are cozy. But the rest of the property needs work.

Horrific internet and low flowing water.
This hotel has horrific internet reliability. Consistently less than 5Mbps internet speed (equivalent to speeds of the late 90s) and despite multiple calls, the speed never improved. It is by design because we certainly have the technological capabilities. I believe this hotel wants to save expenses and therefore offers bismal internet service. This cost cutting is further evidenced by low flow shower heads and a trickling of water from the sink faucets. For $350/night, I expect normal internet service (50Mbps minimum and normal water flow. Is that too much to ask?

I'm sorry your experience with our internet was not up to your standards. We have the fastest internet McCall has to offer. I apologize that there is also not great cellular service for most providers in the area. Both of those issues are something frustrating for everyone who lives here too.

The Evergreen Hotel was great! The breakfasts were second to none. The second and third floors of the hotel have recently been remodeled and look beautiful. The first floor rooms (called "Classic" are fine too). If you are staying on the 2nd or 3rd floors, bring some wire coat hangers with you. There are no closets or bureaus--only hooks on the walls that can support hangars. Any unpacked clothes will have to be laid out on open shelves. That said, the place id great and does have a nice pool and small fitness center with a stationary bike, an elliptical machine, and a treadmill. They also have a rack of dumbbells and an adjustable bench--all new equipment and two TVs. The highlights of our stay were the friendliness of the staff and the breakfasts. Make sure you try the quiche.
