VERY GREAT STAY

Pros: I love it's style.
Cons: IT IS ALL GREAT!
Location: Close to the mall, airport and just a quick trip from big time football.
I love this hotel. Very clean, modern and comfortable. It is close to shopping, restaurants and just a stone's throw away from the beaches.

convenient and clean hotel with good service.

Great stay. Front desk reception was very attentive and caring. Breakfast had everything we wanted and just what everyone would wantt we assume. Good service all around.

Reservation in wrong name.

Reservation was in the wrong name for my traveling companion. Not sure how this occurred since I made the reservation online. Front desk staff did what they could to remedy the mistake. Refunded charge made to cc for an additional room.

Don't Waste Time At Crown Plaza West Shore

The sales staff of this hotel is horrible. I was hosting a Meetup at this event and the hotel had the room set up incorrectly. I notified the sales staff 2 hours before the event and they immediately told me that it would cost $150 extra to change the setup and stated I would need to let them know 24 hours in advance without even looking at the room. Horrible service.

Fan was broke in the bathroom and so noisy

Convenient location for get-away

Pros: renovated rooms, pool and exercise areas were larger than average
Cons: maybe some amenities for members of their frequent guest program
Location: 10 - 15 minutes from airport; mall hearby
I picked this hotel for the cost, ratings and proximity to the Tampa airport. I was pleased with all aspects during my brief (2 night) stay. I did not dine here, although the lobby space and restaurant looked fine. The airport shuttle was timely and the check-in quick. The desk attendant switched my room to the "quiet side" since the hotel restaurant turns into a dance club at 11:00 on Saturday nights. It worked, as I couldn't hear any noise from my 5th floor room on the pool side. The lobby and rooms have been recently renovated and nicely done. My room was quite adequate, including the bath. I managed to do fine here without a rental car. I used Uber to get to the few places I needed to. There is a mall just 2 blocks away with plenty of shopping and dining options. This probably isn't the best place if you have business downtown or want to be at the beach, but it worked fine for me.

CROWNE PLAZA

Every upon return to my room? There'd be 3 - 4 flyers stuffed under the door from local pizza joints. This was such a turn and scary that random folk are able to walk through the hotel and solicit business. Second, there's a night club on Saturday nights and there was no security by the elevators to prevent club goers from going up to hotel rooms. The room was just okay and the shower fixtures were difficult to turn on. I wouldn't recommend this hotel/motel to anyone.

No room cleaning during the two day stay!!!

Pros: Room Cleaning was not done and Management is not resolving the issue proactively.
Cons: Clean the rooms
I am not happy with my stayed. There is room during my 2 nights stay.. I notified the front desk that our room is not made and they said they get on it. They never did. I called down at 8 PM and asked for towels and reminding them that the room is not cleaned. No apology no excuses. Disappointed for a Crown Plaza.

Horrible service & don't valet your car!

Comfortable hotel but in the morning when I went to get my keys from the valet, they messed up the keys and gave me the wrong ones. Took about 20 minutes to figure it out and that's all it took for me to miss my flight. When I told the manager about it, she said "the mistake took only 10 minutes to fix and that was no big deal". Well..10 minutes was all it took for me to miss my flight. Don't valet your car here and don't expect good customer service.
