Nice hotel, clean and near friends I was visiting

Pros: location
Location: Convenient location for my trip
Quick check in/out. Friendly staff. Staff gave good suggestions for dinner in the area.

My first room was really small and noisy but I went down and they did great a new room with balcony great service

Not what i expected

Pros: Most staff are GREAT!
Cons: Don't argue/prove your guest "wrong"; don't offer van service if it really isn't available
Location: Not safe to walk at night; two malls nearby (one with a movie theater) if the hotel van can take you;
There was no microwave nor a refrigerator (maybe I mis read this but I though that on Trivago it stated the rooms came with these items); I got a lecture from the front desk about how I shouldn't use Expedia...their promotion is called, "Stop Clicking"; I signed up for their Honors program to receive the discount on the breakfast but when I noticed I only received two coupons (vs the three I should have received) I was told because I booked through Expedia I could not have the third coupon. The Van drivers where GREAT people and have great customer service...sadly, they really don't have time (tons of airline crews stay at this hotel...I totally understand...I don't have a problem with them needing to get to work) to take their hotel guests to and from the mall as they state..I waited 40, 45 and even 55 minutes for the van to pick me up, when I was told it would be only a few minutes. Finally the first room I was given was SOOO loud, due to the freeway, I tried to stick it out but finally changed rooms at 3:30am...the second room had a mechanical buzzing sound all day and night (but at least I was able to sleep)

Enjoy my stay Bed was comfortable I enjoy the restaurant staff was friendly they could use a little fresh on the carpet .i think they could put a microwave in the room or a small fridge in the room

Disappointed

This is an average hotel at best. My room was right next to Interstate 275 through Tampa, it was VERY loud. I also had a toilet that kept running...I tried to fix it, but to no avail, so I ended up just shutting off the water to the toilet. Breakfast buffet was good, but definitely not worth $18.50.

Has the Hilton name, but doesn't have the service

We stayed here from a Friday to a Monday, flight arrived early and I tried to get an early accommodation for check-in which they tried to do and was able to get in at noon instead of 3 o'clock . And even though I was able to check in at that time I don't feel like they went over and above to make that happen. Because if I was on the priority list starting at 8:30 when the cleaning crew gets there I don't think it takes four hours to clean one room unless there are multiple people on the priority list that said, the rooms were clean, modern and fairly spacious. The particular room that I had had one mirror over the sink that hit me out about the chest . I'm 6 foot tall, and the lighting was really poor throughout the room . Again these are not Knocks against the hotel just things I wish they could change. And I think they could change with the type of bulbs are using and also just hanging a mirror somewhere else in the room so that you can have multiple people getting ready at the same time . The location was not far from the airport, and had food and dining on the spot and within a half miles walk if you preferred something else . I probably would stay there again if the price is right. But it's definitely not a $200 a night stay

Overall, our experience was wonderful. The people at the counter were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfy. The only downside was that the hot tub wasn't hot. Maintenance was notified but it never got warmer.

Water pipe made loud draining noise all night

Water pipe made draining noise all night so loud that my wife and I could not sleep and the check in staff was extremely rude. When I checked in she looked angry I told her I would like to check in and she said "credit card and ID". I gave her my card and ID and she handed me a room key, I said thank you and I got a umm hmm. The next morning my wife and I ordered room service for breakfast we got our food and nothing to eat it with. I called the room service number and told them and half an hour later they brought me utensils. By that time my the food that I paid more that it's worth was cold. I was not satisfied with my stay and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
