Nice hotel- terrible logistics

Posted May 19, 2017
Cons: Management and logistics
Cancelled a reservation due to "no show" at one of the busiest conferences of the year. I've been trying to get a receipt from billing department for the past 3 days- no response. Highly unprofessional management

Needs improvements

Posted May 15, 2017
Pros: Size of room.
Cons: Valet parking retrieval and Breakfast buffet.
Location: Location was convenient
Room could use a good refresh especially the bathroom. Took 10 minutes plus for valet to find car twice, not acceptable. Breakfast buffet was not good period.

Great location by the Tampa river walk

Great pool. Great room. Great breakfast and reception time. Only problem is the ridiculous parking 28.00 ! Plus they charged a valet tax

Excellent value. Happy hour and buffet breakfast!

Posted Apr 27, 2017
Free drinks at happy hour every night and buffet breakfast (try the omelette!) were highlights! Hotel was cool and airy with fountain in foyer, spectacular atrium and glass elevators. Kids enjoyed the pool (not huge big big enough). Rooms had plenty of space for our family. Beds were very comfortable. Location was great, within walking distance of port, next to convention centre and with trolley stop out the front.

The hotel location is actually perfect, close to

Posted Apr 23, 2017
It took 10 minutes for the valet to show up and there was no offered to assist with baggage. In the restaurant the server was very unhelpful. No one answered the phone at valet at check out, and operator indicated they were extremely busy. When I arrived downstairs, all of the valets were standing around talking to each other and there was no real customer service.

Fit in with where we wanted to be and gave us a center point to start and end each day.

Nice hotel, but $25 per day for parking.

Staying at the hotel was great, but $25 per day for parking was unexpected.

Close to Amalie Arena

Posted Mar 23, 2017
Pros: Location, looks, comfort.
Cons: Should allow self parking.
Location: Tampa Downtown. Amalie Arena, Riverwalk, tons of other things to do.
We had tickets to a Tampa Bay Lightning game and wanted a hotel that was very close by. The Embassy Suites served our purpose perfectly. Although it took half an hour to check in, everything else was great.

Nice location but that's about it

Posted Mar 21, 2017
Drive 4 hours to go to a lightning game on a Saturday night and accidentally booked the Sunday. Noticed early Saturday morning (probably 36 hours in advance of checkin of the mistake) and could not get room switched and end up having to pay an extra 200$ because of unfriendly and no help staff at both the hotel and Expedia. To top things off the air conditioner in the room did not work but decided it wasn't worth the hassle of dealing with the unpleasant staff again.

Noise is an issue

Posted Mar 20, 2017
This hotel is very noisy the way it's constructed - more like the garden/atrium feel. All the noise goes up and all the rooms overlook the lobby area....very noisy!
