Not happy with stay

The covers for bed were stained along with the pillows themselves and I asked for new pillows and they had none. I videoed the stains. I needed ice because we had none in the refrigerator and couldn't get any. No one brought new towels for second night and we had to reuse towels as we came back in after midnight from the championship game. Hotel was not taken care of inside. Not happy and paid way too much for this hotel. Slight smell in room

Get what you pay for

Pros: Close to the airport. Close to shopping and dining.
Cons: Faster wifi and softer pillows.
Location: Right across the street from a large shopping mall and 5 minute drive from Raymond James Stadium.
The wifi was terribly slow. The pillows were like bricks.

Nice hotel close to TIA

Location: Less than 5 min walk from Eddie V's, one of Tampa's finest fine dining experiences.
Nothing fancy, just everything you would need from a hotel, short-term or long. Centrally located, 10 mins from the airport, 10 mins from downtown Tampa. Has a fridge, stove and microwave.

Room needed total update, cleaning and paint

The elevator seemed very old and took forever to get up to the 2nd floor. The room needed painting and cleaning. No hair dryer in room. I asked the front desk and someone behind the counter told another worker if we don't have one in the cabinet then we are out. I couldn't belive it...no hair dryer? Shower area was spotted with water like they didn't clean it or did not finish cleaning. Everything just seemed old and in need of updates.

Sruce Street Extended Stay

Pros: Location
Cons: Most everything
Location: Near airport and lots of restaurants. Close to 2 malls
Not clean, when we turned the covers back for bed, the pillow had a large blood stain on it. Floors had not been vacuumed. Everything was dusty. Fridge and furniture was chipped and cracked, very dated. Do not recommend

Cheap but Few Amenities

Pros: it was cheap!
Cons: provide a hair dryer, some color in the room, and see above
Location: Just off Dale Mabry, close to baseball stadium,. restaurants, and shopping
The hotel is decent and disappointing. No hair dryer; cleaning service only once per week; old bedding, only one pillow per person, only one picture on the walls- kind of depressing(at least for us) But bed was comfortable enough and there's a flat screen TV Bathroom was OK.

Room was very very dirty and the TV did not work. I was told there was nothing that could be done as there where no more rooms. I travel to Tampa once a month for business and will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

facility met my needs

Pros: Price
Cons: Cleaner carpet.
Location: Close to where my conference was located, this was convenient for me, and at the right price.
Your hotel met my needs while in Tampa for a 2 day conference. I couldn't afford to stay at the resort where the conference was held, so your facility adequately met my needs. Everything in the room worked, bed comfortable, but the carpet could use cleaning. I thought I left a piece of medical equipment in the room and the manager, Lisa, did make every effort to try to locate my missing article. She was helpful and pleasant in carrying out this task. Disappointing experience

Pros: Staff (when you could find them) were ok.
Cons: Not clean. Deferred maintenance in rooms.
Location: Close to everything - quick drive to airport, convention center, Amalie Arena...
Booked this hotel after having a good experience at another Extended Stay near the Tampa airport. Unfortunately, this hotel was not as nice. I was not aware of the weekly housekeeping (as opposed to daily) and had to pick up towels from the front desk. Hairdryers must be requested from front desk as well. Toilet was difficult to flush (broken handle?) Outdoor trash recepticles were overflowing with trash and food that spilled out onto the ground and blew around - food, dirty diapers and such. Yuck.
