I arrived late when I checked in from traveling for my 2 night stay. Around 2 am the air conditioner in my room began to make a huge loud rattling noise that woke me up and would not allow me to get back to sleep. I recorded the noise and went down to the front desk and played the recoding to the front desk person and he told me there was nothing he could do. There was no maintenance personnel on duty and no manager. I asked to be given a different room and was denied the option. I was told to come down in the morning to discuss it with the manager. I went back to my room very dissatisfied. I went to the front desk at 7:30 am and spoke with the manager. She told me they could have maintenance check the problem. I asked her to help compensate me for my issue and she told me all that all she could do was give me done points on my Hilton honors rewards. The maintenance person was supposed to come up to my room at 8 am. I waited until 8:45 and they had not arrived. I had to leave for my conference. When I returned late in the evening the air conditioner was again making the same noise. I called the front desk was told that they saw a note about the issue and that maintenance was requested but no further notes about any repairs being done were added. I told them I could not have another night of no sleep. I was moved to a different room at 11:00 pm to then experience a toilet that works not stop running when flushed. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with this hotel!
