The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The facility itself is extremely outdated and needs a major upgrade. This surrounding areas appeared to be deteriorating and unsafe.

Paper thin walls. Mattress a stone as were the pillows. Free breakfast is a joke, just some cereal and coffee, also bagels. Lots of people loitering nearby, although hotel itself appeared secure. Maid service every other day. Room did offer a lot of plugs and connections.

Was very clean inside and looked like most of the rooms have recently been renovated which was a big plus. There was a good amount of people at breakfast and were all asking where the eggs, bacon or sausage was but were told breakfast was limited to waffles, cereal, bagels & fruits. I would suggest having better options for breakfast. Staff was very friendly and let us check in 2 hours early at no additional charge as well.

THERE IS NO SHUTTLE. I booked here for convenience. 7min Uber drives to Ybor but annoying when they claim to offer a free shuttle in a 7 mile radius. Breakfast was lacking, when crowded employees took a long time to restock/refresh items (and it was always crowded for breakfast). The gym had a broken machine. The pool was not heated (claims to be!). The entire hotel smells like cheap air freshener, which gave us a headache. We also had to keep asking for shampoo/conditioner (only 1 small bottle for a 4 person room). Staff was not friendly which is fine I guess. Didn’t spend any extra time at hotel, just a place to sleep. Was not expecting much and was still disappointed.

The property was clean & the staff very accommodating. If you were sitting by the pool, it was quite noisy because of the highway. Also there are very few restaurants in the area.

I do not recommend this place. I don't even want to call it a hotel. It was extremely dirty and it smelled horrible. The A/C was broken. The area is very unsafe.

Couldn’t change channel on tv. Phone doesn’t work. Vending machine doesn’t work. There was an ice maker but nothing to carry the ice in. Have to take your bags across the yard to a building not attached to where the office is.

Drive into property through, homeless and junkies sleeping and hanging around. Let the addicts in to have breakfast and never asked if they were even staying the. Front desk receptionists unfriendly, never said hellow, goodbye, or even acknowledged our existence. Would never stay the again. Only reason they stay in business is they are close to harbor for cruises.

The property has a lot of homeless personnel around harassing for money. One tried to grab my teenage daughter and others standing near our vehicle. Room was subpar, and when I sat on the edge of the bed the mattress flipped up and I nearly fell to the ground.

Nice landscaping around pool. Upon arrival, we had no chair for desk in room. Called desk, couldn't bring one till next day cause "no men there" . Around side door hundreds of cigarette butts scattered on ground. Outside our room door, man flashed hundred $ bills to my husband , asked if he wanted to make some money. Bad experience !!!

First of all. There was mold on the chair in my room. I had to take photos and switch rooms. I had spent less than 10 min in the room. The rooms were clean enough. The floors in the hall were a little gross but not a huge deal imo. The area outside the hotel was definitely questionable. The staff was nice. I was also locked out of my room before checkout, while I was eating breakfast. Not a big deal but annoying to have to walk back to the desk for something that shouldn't have happened. My husband also complained about how clean the shower was and the shower head was really annoying.

Bathroom could have been cleaner, odor from water or drain, and the shower head kept falling off the holder.. spraying water everywhere., no big deal but had to hold on to it . Staff was excellent, aware of us as guests as we came and went.

My review has to be changed to Clarione Pointe due to what Quality Inn did. On day of check in, I got a notification from my bank that a charge was declined. I keep my card locked while I travel until I need to use it as I never know what situation I will be in. Immediately after, I received a call from Quality Inn and I was told they tried to charge my card and it didn’t go through. I explained that she can retry and explained the traveling situation. I wanted over an hour, and decided to relock my card as I assumed they just planned to charge me when I got to the hotel, at this point check in was in less than an hour. I got to the hotel, and was told that they canceled my reservation and were now at capacity. I explained that I didn’t understand why they wouldn’t alert me before canceling, and the worker stated she left a voice mail. I can say with full confidence, I didn’t not receive any other call other than the one I answered, and the worker never once mentioned cancellation. They stated they would place us in a “sister” location which was Clarione Pointe, about 15 minutes away, and stated it would be 2 queen size beds, exactly the same, and the price would be exactly the same. We got to Clarione Pointe, and were told there was no room comp information available. I argued with the guy back and forth and explained the manager at Quality Inn promised everything would be handled, and after 5 minutes or so, he found the reservation.
