Very fast and efficient check-in. Very friendly staff, the whole place was very neat and clean. Pool was lovely and there was a workout room that was well equipped. Even though our stay was short it was enjoyable

Being a man, I didn't really feel threatened, but there were a lot of homeless in the area. Property was fenced and seemed to have a security guard in the evening, which helped. Had to drive a while to find much in the way of dining. Thank goodness for good ole Domino's Pizza delivery.

Came for a show for one night from Miami. The hotel was clean and staff was nice. Room was basic but comfy for a one night stay. The neighborhood is a little sketch but it’s right near Ybor so that’s to be expected. Felt safe regardless.

Property staff were fantastic and overall the hotel was ok; however, I can not recommend staying there. There were an excessive amount of homeless individuals and vagrants and trash all around the property. Having flown in, our transportation was limited so we walked to the Wawa which was only a couple blocks away to pick up food. Very unsafe walking at night and stepping over people laying in and around the side walk area. Daytime wasn't any better. Our Uber driver made mention of this area being the sketchy part of town. It definitely was. Also on 2nd day cops were inside checking video cams for car theft/break in which seemed to be common occurrence. If your going to Tampa for cruise, there are much better hotel options available closer to cruise port area.

Property and staff was great. Nice clean rooms, just near the area surrounding looks a bit unsafe at night. Homeless and drug hangout near by. I would stay again just not hanging out at night in surrounding area.

The hotel is run down. Attempts to renovate have been done, but done poorly. Walls are thin. The hotel has a security guard, and the grounds appear secure but there is a large homeless population on the road next to hotel. The vouchers for the breakfast were awkward and the breakfast was minimal.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The facility itself is extremely outdated and needs a major upgrade. This surrounding areas appeared to be deteriorating and unsafe.

Paper thin walls. Mattress a stone as were the pillows. Free breakfast is a joke, just some cereal and coffee, also bagels. Lots of people loitering nearby, although hotel itself appeared secure. Maid service every other day. Room did offer a lot of plugs and connections.

Was very clean inside and looked like most of the rooms have recently been renovated which was a big plus. There was a good amount of people at breakfast and were all asking where the eggs, bacon or sausage was but were told breakfast was limited to waffles, cereal, bagels & fruits. I would suggest having better options for breakfast. Staff was very friendly and let us check in 2 hours early at no additional charge as well.

THERE IS NO SHUTTLE. I booked here for convenience. 7min Uber drives to Ybor but annoying when they claim to offer a free shuttle in a 7 mile radius. Breakfast was lacking, when crowded employees took a long time to restock/refresh items (and it was always crowded for breakfast). The gym had a broken machine. The pool was not heated (claims to be!). The entire hotel smells like cheap air freshener, which gave us a headache. We also had to keep asking for shampoo/conditioner (only 1 small bottle for a 4 person room). Staff was not friendly which is fine I guess. Didn’t spend any extra time at hotel, just a place to sleep. Was not expecting much and was still disappointed.

The property was clean & the staff very accommodating. If you were sitting by the pool, it was quite noisy because of the highway. Also there are very few restaurants in the area.

I do not recommend this place. I don't even want to call it a hotel. It was extremely dirty and it smelled horrible. The A/C was broken. The area is very unsafe.

Couldn’t change channel on tv. Phone doesn’t work. Vending machine doesn’t work. There was an ice maker but nothing to carry the ice in. Have to take your bags across the yard to a building not attached to where the office is.

Drive into property through, homeless and junkies sleeping and hanging around. Let the addicts in to have breakfast and never asked if they were even staying the. Front desk receptionists unfriendly, never said hellow, goodbye, or even acknowledged our existence. Would never stay the again. Only reason they stay in business is they are close to harbor for cruises.
