Downtown Gem

Absolutely perfect, wonderful accommodations, room has plenty of space and the bed extremely comfortable. Staff seem to take pride in their work, and could answer questions locally. Free shuttle, close to river walk and theaters. Breakfast an added bonus. Only negative, need to do something about the extra charges for parking, just puts a damper on such a quality stay.

Pros: It is downtown in walking distance to the riverwalk and other downtown attractions.
Cons: The parking lot is shared between two Marriott hotels but it is blocked so Residence Inn patrons can only use one side. It should be open for both.
Location: Riverwalk, night clubs, restaurants
The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and well appointed including a free bag of microwave popcorn! Breakfast was above average. The only difficulty is parking. We returned late one evening to find there was only one space left that was extremely difficult to maneuver in to. We found out later they have a second lot for overflow parking. That would have been good to know.

Location: Walking distance to Riverwalk and plenty of restaurants and bars on nearby streets.
Staff was friendly and acomodating. Room was perfect.

Downtown stay to visit daughter at UT

Great location downtown, close to everything and easy to locate. The hotel is a bit older, but considering it is a downtown hotel, this is a pretty decent place for the money. Staff is amazing. General Manager is pleasant and very welcoming. The morning front staff is warm and welcoming, above an beyond the ordinary! Smart and pleasant individuals, they actually made the minor things feel very minor. The hotel itself is starting to show signs of wear, but they do keep up with everything. The pool and spa area are maintained and an enjoyable little area to relax; even has a small basketball area and plenty of seating to relax and grill. The hot breakfast is very good, they switch it up slightly each day to add variety and it saved us 20.00 each day in breakfast expenses, which is a plus! Coffee available all day. Decent place overall and would stay again. parking fills fast, if your planning to go out be back by 1am or you will have to park in overflow lot which actually wasn't as bad as others reviewed. We will be regular Tampa visitors, since our daughter attends the University of Tampa now and so far this has been one of the most pleasant and stressfree visits. We have stayed at a couple resorts just outside of Tampa and I have to admit that we received more here than the resorts offered and much better treatment by staff, not to mention there is plenty to do in the area!

Pros: The shuttle and some of the staff were pleasant.
Cons: The breakfast buffet, furniture was coming apart, and on-call maintenance.
Location: The only thing I was there for was to attend an event at the convention center, but other than that there was no concierge to assist when I had ques.
First night had an issue with the kitchen sink where the faucet was leaking and they had to replace the faucet, so I had to call and get another room. Then the next night, the toilet overflowed leaving about an inch of water in the bathroom. Went downstairs and they did not have a plunger or a maintenance personnel on-call, so needless to say I had to get another room. The final room was okay but none of these rooms had very good views of the city or downtown. Not happy with the location but the staff was pleasing and helped.

Staff was great! Very helpful and informative. The room wasn't as clean as it could have been. There were some hairs in the tub and bathtub and on the floor as well as in the drawers. Other than that the room was nice and very comfortable. Good location-there was a $15 per day parking fee, and there are two lots to park in.

다운타운 안이라 접근성 좋음. 시설이 오래되었으나, 크게 불편함 없음. 친절하고 조식 맛있음.
