Musty and dark

Pros: nothing
Cons: check in process, room quality, room security, room heating/cooling.
Location: Outback and Cracker Barrel are next door, a small strip mall is just a few hundred yards away. Great location for someone passing through.
Apparently the default for this hotel is a smoking room when booked through expedia.com. Upon arrival, the receptionist told me it was my fault that I chose a smoking room. After some discussion he changed me to a non-smoking room. Upon entry into my room I found a dark, dreary, musty, damp room in a poor state of repair with holes in the walls, the only blanket on the bed was a runner used at the foot of the bed, no cups in the bathroom and cracked tiles in the floor. When i went to secure the door, I found the "U" lock was broken. There was such a damp air in the room, it felt like there were misters on the ceiling. You get what you pay for, but this is not worth the savings over other hotels in the area.

Staff friendly, hotel in disrepair

Cons: really old hotel, needs complete make over
Location: ok
Was very disappointed, had to switch rooms twice, one with no air, one with no tv, and the third did not have a microwave but stayed in this room anyway. Garbage outside rear door that smelled bad, old ice machine outside pool door which stunk, carpets were really rough, entire building needed to be painted, breakfast was a joke. Would have changed to another hotel, but it was too late.

Needs alot of TLC

Hotel had a bad smell, lights were out in hallway. Breakfast was terrible, no milk for cereal. Toilet overflowed into hallway.

Close to our family

We have stayed here several times and have always enjoyed our stay. The staff are always helpful and we like their breakfast.

Jacklyn, at reception desk, was very friendly and accommodating. Room was nice but bath towels and some of the pillows smelled like smoke.

Good for price and short stay

The lady at front desk, (I wish I had got her name), was very pleasant and helpful during check-in. It made for a good start for my stay.

Pros: The price
We stayed at this hotel about 3 years ago. Since then it has deteriorated. The Air conditioner was not secured properly to the wall. The toilet had dark stains. The hallways looked dingy. The stairwells had boxes, etc. stored. On an exit door the handle was missing. The elevator was extremely stuffy and made it hard to breath.

Not a good experience

The air conditioning does not work and neither did the TV. I changed room and the air conditioning was so loud that did not allow sleep.
