Musty and dark

Apparently the default for this hotel is a smoking room when booked through expedia.com. Upon arrival, the receptionist told me it was my fault that I chose a smoking room. After some discussion he changed me to a non-smoking room. Upon entry into my room I found a dark, dreary, musty, damp room in a poor state of repair with holes in the walls, the only blanket on the bed was a runner used at the foot of the bed, no cups in the bathroom and cracked tiles in the floor. When i went to secure the door, I found the "U" lock was broken. There was such a damp air in the room, it felt like there were misters on the ceiling. You get what you pay for, but this is not worth the savings over other hotels in the area.
