I had a terrible experience with Hotel Tampa Riverwalk. I purchased two nights stay with them. I get to the hotel on Saturday afternoon about 2:00. The man at the front desk tells me that there are no rooms available at the moment (which I do understand check-in isn't technically until 4:00 so that is fine) he says he can hold our luggage and takes our phone number and says he will call us when our room is ready. So we have paid for valet to take our car, and they took our bags. We had a concert to go to so we head off to the concert trusting that our room will definitely be ready by the time we get back from the concert. Well we return later that night after the concert and they tell us that they have no room for us, even though we have already paid for two nights. So here it is almost midnight, and we have no place to stay. We are all the way from Virginia mind you. They were not apologetic; they did not try to help us find another hotel to stay at. They did not offer to reimburse our valet. They had no remorse and didn't try to help in anyway. They were rude and unkind. I was completely shocked. They just kicked me and my fiance' out where no where to go in the middle of the night. Terrible customer service! Absolutely terrible!
