Happy once again!Posted Sep 21, 2015
Pros: Location, amenities, food available, very nice inside reasonable parking prices right across the street
Cons: Mini fridges in the rooms
Location: Right next to Amelie Arena, the convention center and close to Channelside and Ybor city. Trolly picks up right outside.
Second time I've stayed here and it's a beautiful hotel in a perfect spot if you need to go to the convention center or arena. Very nice amenities, breakfast buffet is amazing and the Champions restaurant attached is also very good and served late enough to accommodate our schedule. The rooms were clean and quiet. We were excited to have a balcony overlooking downtown on this trip. Nice touch! Only downside is that rooms don't have mini fridges in them. Even cheap hotels usually have that. I will stay here again next year.

Nice HotelPosted Sep 20, 2015
Pros: Very Nice
Cons: Beds & Shuttle service for the Cruise Port like other hotels in the area offer.
Location: Amalie Arena, Jackson's Bistro Across the River had an amazing Sunday Brunch for $24, Ybor City has lots of restaurants at low cost, & the aquarium.
The Hotel was very nice but it was a 15-20min walk to get to any type of restaurant. No small grocery stores within walking distance. If your attending an event at the Amalie Event Center it is great but if your trying to see the sights in Tampa it is not the best location. The Trolley is right out the front door and can take you to Ybor City or into the Downtown area. It is about a 10 min walk to the Cruise Ship Terminal which is why we stayed here. The beds were very uncomfortable but the room was nice. I would stay here again if I was only doing an overnight & getting on the cruise ship.

Good hotel with excellent views of the waterfront.Posted Sep 13, 2015
Pros: Location and views (ask for water view room). Pool area - although this may be busy in peak season.
Cons: Restaurant options were unclear. We had no idea where the restaurant serving breakfast was, so we went out instead!
Location: Waterfront walk is fabulous - just watch out for the cyclists!
Hotel as expected - right on waterfront and only a minute away from the Amalie Arena. Booked this specifically as we were attending an event there. Pleasantly surprised to find a lovely pool on 3rd floor and spent a few hours there relaxing. Only valet parking available (not clear from website). However, the charge ($24 + tax) was not unreasonable and the service we received was very good. Help offered with luggage and the bell was very helpful in telling us about the hotel and the area. Pool attendant was very helpful too. Check in/out was quick and problem-free. Room was OK in terms of size and comfort. No fridge, but one was made available via a call to housekeeping and arrived within a couple of minutes. Annoying notes from the maid who was clearly pointing out that we were supposed to leave her a tip! Would have liked to see as much effort put into making the beds! Beds were small doubles - not king sized as expected. We were only there for a couple of nights though, so managed rather than asking for a change.

Pros: Nice area, nice hotel and good restaurants right in the hotel.
Location: Location to Tampa Port very convenient. Close to convention center & Tampa Bay Lightening arena.
Had an issue with the first room we were given - not clean, but they immediately rectified the problem. Restaurants were great. Food was very good. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Would not hesitate to stay there again and recommend it highly.

GREAT STAYPosted Sep 2, 2015
Pros: The staff went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of. The pool is also very nice.
Cons: The pillows were a bit to soft for our liking so we just asked housekeeping for 2 extra.
Location: St Petes Beach, Clearwater, Clearwater aquarium, Florida aquarium, Ybor City Dinning.
We went for 4 days to take our son back to college. The staff was fantastic. From the valets to the front desk. Our room was clean and ready when we arrived. Frank the bartender at the pool was super nice and made our stay very comfortable. I also twisted my ankle at the beach one day while we were there and Manny went out of his way to get me a wheelchair upon my arrival back to the hotel. On our last day there we had a very late flight and Tyler the front desk manager was very accommodating and allowed us a little later check out. He is a great addition to the hotel. Over all the staff was very friendly and as far as I am concerned that is the only hotel that we will be staying at when we visit our son in Tampa. Well done everyone.

Nice hotel near several downtown attractions.Posted Aug 29, 2015
My husband and I did a weekend getaway for some alone time and this hotel worked out perfect. Close to many areas within walking distance. The Champions sports Bar and Grill was awesome. Not too crowded. We had a great time. The hotel staff were most helpful and friendly. Would stay here again.

Tampa Bay River WalkPosted Aug 29, 2015
Pros: This hotel is very clean, staff friendly and accommodating.
Location: Many restaurants within walking distance of hotel. Trolley service right outside hotel. Beautiful Water views & River Walk. Kayaking, Water Bikes.
This hotel is fantastic! I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times now when I go to visit family in the area. Staff is very accommodating, hotel sits right on the water's edge. There is plenty to do. The Convention Center is right next door. Many people take advantage of the River Walk, I love it and look forward to coming back to it again and again!
