Horrible!!!!

$26 per car per night for parking .. vallet asks for a tip every time you need your car. Room smelled horrible !!!!!

As a valued guest, we see that there is room for some improvements based on your feedback. We saw that you rated our hotel as a 1. Please accept our apology for not meeting your expectations during your stay concerning both the Valet Service and the conditions and smell in your guestroom. Our entire staff strives to provide the utmost in service and accommodations and we failed to deliver a flawless guest experience. The hotel has some exciting news to share. We will be undergoing a major $18 million dollar renovation beginning in August. Guestroom renovations will include new bedding, all new guestroom furniture, carpeting, new 49” flat screen televisions, seating, artwork, painting and new RFID door locks with mobile capabilities. Our corridors, meeting rooms, restaurant and lobby will be completely renovated as well. In addition the Westin will be adding a private Club Lounge for all Club Level, SPG Platinum and Ambassador Guests. Our completion date for all of our expansive renovations will be completed by late December of this year. Close to Downtown Tampa

Not sure I would pay regular room rate for this hotel. Dishes from the day before we're still in the hallways. A hot water heater from the room next to ours ran loud all day and night. Staff not very friendly or helpful.

More dated than expected

The outside of the hotel is beuatiful and the location is fantastic. The room was clean, but the hotel itself was a bit dated. The shower had rust stains. No outlets by the bed for phone charging. Dated phones.

convenient location

Good choice for a hotel close to the port although it is a bit far to just walk. A shuttle is available but only at noon and only once a day so a bit limited even if it free ( I was told and didn't verify this) Quite pricey for an average hotel

Nice hotel

Hotel was convenient and nice. Lobby check in area was kind of weird...second floor corner. Had late arriving guests or late night partiers who were extremely loud in hallway and rooms at 3 am...should escort those folks up in order not to wake up the entire floor..

The Westin is a nice hotel. I thought it charged too much for the breakfast buffet -- $20 -- and valet parking -- $26/day. Also there was a "Thespian" convention staying there, and they were quite noisy quite late.

Hidden charges

Not the kind of hotel worth spending over $200 for a night with a terrible view of the roof if the hotel (4th floor). Thought I was getting a decent deal but I obviously didn't see or read all the small print. No parking. Had to valet for a $26 charge plus tip. No breakfast included and didn't really fell like spending another $60 to $80 for breakfast. Also no notification that there was construction going on all around hotel making it difficult to get into and out of.

Pay for parking

Hotel's outward appearance and lobby were very nice but the room was like a Day's Inn. Parking charge was high to me (26$) and the access bridge was closed making it difficult to get to the hotel. I have starwood rewards but had to ask for free internet and room had a roof view instead of a city or water view. For the price it was just OK

Decent hotel but needs updating. Bathroom fan was broken, and the bathroom could have been cleaned better. Great location close to Amalie Arena- easy 5 minute walk over the bridge.
