Valet was simple and quick. Check in was also simple and quick.
My wife and I were celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary and expected a little bit more for what we had to pay. Carpet in hallway and rooms was dingy, bathtub did not drain. No food available in the late evening. Ridiculously cold in the breakfast area. There’s more but I’ll stop there.

Location is everything. This hotel is in a perfect area for walking. A beautiful river walk, lots of nearby restaurants, and only a 25 minute walk to the cruise terminal. The building itself is a bit tired and old, but the staff were very accommodating and friendly. We would go back to this hotel.

The decor was elegant. The view from my room was of the harbor and the Tampa skyline and it was beautiful. I pulled my chair to the window just to sit and look out. I felt very safe because the elevator would not move without a room key. The food was good and the employees served with a smile. I was at a convention so the hotel was walking distance. I would definitely choose this Westin again.

We enjoyed our stay and when there was an issue with other guests making an extreme amount of noise and banging on walls, management took care of it immediately.

Overpriced regular hotel room. Beautiful grounds but the hotel rooms were average. I stayed at better hotel rooms in Best Western. Parking garage is very inconvenient and way overpriced. No access to your vehicles if you forget something.

The rooms smell like sewer we couldn’t sleep at night, the emergency lights at the room ceiling were flashing all night, they didn’t tell us that they are working on cleaning g the bad smell, bad room service they never showed up after we called and requested extra blankets, overall stay somewhere else

Came to see the annual Tampa Bay Christmas boat parade. The hotel was right on the water and we could actually see it from our room! Enjoyed having a drink and some appetizers at their bar while waiting for our room to be ready. Room was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable !

Stayed here for a concert at the Amalie, not only were the front desk people really chill & welcoming —- this place was also just really nice. Got two free drink tokens so took advantage of that before walking a short 10 minutes to the venue, which you can see basically the whole time. And had a blast. Literally no issues with this hotel and trust me when I say I be nit picking things. Also the views were really gorgeous. Oh and the local parking garage was $10 for 24 hours on spothero, took 2 minutes to walk there n back.

The check in was brutal! The front desk manager was able to correct all issues to our satisfaction. The staff in the restaurants are great. Hotel is tired and needs some redecorating. Once this is accomplished with the great staff will be a great property
