Location is superb, just next to the beach and we could see the beach light shows at night in our room. Also there are plenty parking spaces for those who drives.

A lovely experience
We stayed one night and had a lovely room overlooking the ocean which was just what we wanted. The room was very clean and spacious and well appointed. The breakfast was traditional Japanese and delicious.

It was an ok property excellent location right on the beach. The rooms were dated and had a urine scent and the couches are older but well maintained. They should definitely update the rooms even if it’s a few at a time to be more current.

Two Futon for four person
I booked two adult and two children, but services prepared is based off two persons (especially, Futon. Where should our children sleep in our room ?). I wanted this hotel to take a little bit more care of children.

This is a love hotel with an excellent location, right next to the beach. The building is well kept and very clean, but it is getting a bit old.

It was an amazing trip. The hotel is new and clean. It is convenient with a bus stop just outside. There is a free shuttle bus pick up from the JR station. You can find the beach right in front of your eyes in the room.

All things are fine, except the air conditioning. No cool air, just heat. Very uncomfortable. We did open the window, but there were mosquitoes flying around. At our second night there, a bunch of people talked and played at the beach in the middle of the night, generating noises affecting our sleep. But we couldn’t close the window because it’s really too hot.

Next to the beach
Just a few meters away from the white beach of Shirahama, this hotel seems to be the best option compared to different hotels. A 24h supermarket is found within 100m. The restaurant only offers dinner to those who registered prior to the check-in, so one must find their own meal. Since we like fish, we drove down by car to a big (huge!) fish market for amazing delicacies. Breakfast came in Japanese style: coffee cannot be expected and neither a buffet table. All was served. In-house Onsen was okay. The women seem to get a better catch. Staff was very kind. Parking was free. The room had a wonderful view. The night walks were really nice.

Wonderful facilities and spacious Onsen. Nice breakfast with big portion Hotel closes to the main beach and it is so good the scenery around Parking is easy as there will be staff helping Good to stay with some children

beautiful water view , super clean room
I added breatfast optional which was delicious. staff were very helpful. great hot spring bath. the hotel is on the beautiful white sand beach and close to the sight seeing spot. i would love to stay here again.

Stayed a night in April. Airconditioning unit in the room shutdown automatically during the night and the room temp rose to 27 degrees c which woke me during the night and couldnt fall back to sleep. It was not possible to switch it back on. Very annoyed at the time Otherwise room was clean. Onsen on site was good too. Fairly close to attractions

Nice hotel but a bit disappointing on onsen usage
Great service and onsen with a nice view. However, the cigarette smell was quite heavy when you walk through the corridor to the room. This didn't give good first impreasion. They alternate male and female onsen so as to let both gender to use the best onsen overlooking the sea. However they did not change the amenities used by the different gender. In addition, I happened to drop by the onsen before they close. I was still tidying up myself but a male staff suddenly came in, luckily I got my clothes back but that wasn't a nice experience. They should have asked their male staff not to come in as long as a female guest was still doing her last-minute cleaning. English communication is always a problem in Japan.

The only hotel on Shirahama beach
Stayed in a traditional Japanese room. Onsen is great - hot water with no chlorine added (or at least it was not noticeable) compare to other onsens. Beach is great even sand is imported :). There are not many trash bins on the beach which contribute to a lot of plastic rubbish and cigarette butts left on the beach. I will definitely come again some day.

Not good enough.

Available onsen hotel but over price
The hotel condition is quite old. Its in 90s design. I felt like i was back in 90s in japan. The hotel is not a traditional type of onsen hotel. Its more like their built in 90s and nothing was added since. The price is far over priced compared with other onsen hotels in stayed during this trip. everything is quite available.

Excellent Beach Front hotel
Location is a bit far off from Shirahama train station. They do have a shuttle service that pickup hotel guests and will stopped at one other hotel before arrving Shiraraso. Be aware there is NO shuttle service going back to train station. You'll either have to take a TAXI about 1700+ yen or get on a bus. The hotel itself is a bit dated but well maintained. Our floor have refurnished hallway. We don't smoke but we got a smoking room. Fortunately it didn't have the smoky smell. Otherwise, this hotel is at a beach front property and it's absolutely stunning to look out the windows in the morning. I wish I can attach a picture with his review. By the way, this is also an ONSEN aka Hot Spring. For the money we paid at off season this is total bargain. Highly recommended.
