A no problem hotel

Movenpicl Hotel and Casino the best heart for hospitality in such a business. I have been to Morocco on nine occasions and have stayed at 5 star hotels and this Movenpick in all areas was not only of an EXCELLENT VALUE it was the only 5 star I stayed in where I was never personnally cheated and this particular hotel Movenpick always lived up to the value of a 5 star service which I would add a diamond. I have stayed in 5 star hotels that did not come through upon 5 star standards and ignored genuine needs for HVAC comfort...not here everything was fixed and no tip was sought. Thankyou staff and management of the nicest place I stayed in ..in all of Morocco..!

Very basic hotel, 2 micro bottles of water first day only, odd furniture. Basic buffet.

I like the hotel orientation

Hotel is very good in term of location and it's rooms size however couldn't find Hammam facility

Pros: view of the ocean and sea ...
Cons: air conditioning needs more attention...it was quite hot in the room, the solution was a fan....with no knob plenty of small nuisance pebbles
Location: cornice is near by for a nice evening walk, and plenty of coffee shops and restaurants if you like long distance walks
it is a quite resort, nice breakfast and room service

Hotel is suitable for specific type of travelers

Pros: It has a nice swimming pool. The staff were polite and nice.
Cons: Adding a coffee machine or kittle and improve the food quality.
Location: Once you leave the hotel, go left and cross the road, you will find an amazing café called cappuccino.
There’s actually nothing to criticize the hotel as everything a guest needs has been provided. However, this only reflects how I felt, which may not necessarily considered as a criterion to choose this hotel by other travelers. The hotel is a perfect choice for travelers who seeks gambling and nightlife with its amazing casino and every night parties. However, travelers seeking the beauty of Tangier may have better quality hotels and guesthouses in the heart of the city (Madina or Kasbah). The room is nice and clean but has no kittle for tea and coffee, which is a bit important for me. It also lack the soul and made us feel very depressed in the first day to the extent of spending the second night in a different hotel. The colors chosen for the interiors were kind of depressing and the view nowadays is gloomy too as a new construction building is close by, causing some discomfort with its gray color. The hotel free breakfast was a bit below average as we had to skip it to have a proper breakfast in a café called Cappuccino (three minutes walk from the hotel). The food provided by the other restaurants is very disappointing and totally not worth the money. I didn’t really feel comfortable walking with my girlfriend inside the hotel as everyone was starting. That’s the first time I had such negative feeling regarding this issue. The massage service was not really professional and respectful too.

Worst 5 star hotel.very old and bad reception stuf

One of the worst 5stars hotel I ever stayed. Reception stuff was very rude not friendly. Arrived at 1 am got the room at 3:30 am .reception Yassin was not helpfu kept showing us very bad rooms with twin bed however me and my wife booked king bed after a lot of fights he offer me upgrade to similar room with very bad smell. At 3:30 finally he gave us room smell ok but the bed and bathroom was disaster.but we had no other option since we where traveling long time and was very tired. Personal advice not to stay there hotel is very old . Doesn't look like what in the pictures at all
