Nice hotel but no access to the beach?

Every was great except the fact there was no access to the beach from the hotel even though it has it's own? And the breakfast was the same everyday except the fruits were different sometimes

The hotel had an incredible view of the city.

We had a great time in both the hotel and city of Tangiers. The staff at the hotel were excellent and met all of our needs. The breakfast was extensive and tasty. In Tangiers centre you have to be prepared to hustle. People were nice and we had an excellent time. We were impressed by the modern facilities both in the city and on the beach.

Friendly staff, everything is good except Rooms

In the hotel you have American and European style, staff is friendly but rooms and cleaning services very bad, it's very hard and dangerous for old people to use the shower the bathtub is too high for them, everything in the hotel is perfect except the rooms , also you need to confirm and be sure to make your reservation if you will have any additional person with you in the room because I had issue with them regarding my wife . They forced me to pay extra to $ 200 because she's with me which the hotel ad king size bed up to 3 people is allowed just pay $3.50 TAX for any additional person , the person in charge for the hotel ads doesn't have experience because I'm also a hotel owner in NY and I did show them their mistakes on the ad but they still overcharge me , I totally understand it's a slow time for the hotel but doesn't mean they overcharge the guests, Rooms Division Manger Mr Rachid Jebari his very nice man , he sent to my room nice gift from the hotel because I was very upset becouse overcharge price add to my bill. Breakfast is excellent , in general you will enjoy your stay except in rooms

Good choice in tanjer

good location, nice pool, I like that they serve hookah around the pool, their included breakfast buffet is wonderful. I wish that there are more restaurants in the hotel, and I wish that they extend the operation hours in the restaurants and bars. Also, the bar service in the casino is bad.

Location: Lots of construction in the area. It's not a good place to go for a walk or run.
We have very high standards for casino hotels. We go to Las Vegas and Atlantic City often. The casino was small but very energetic, lots of local action and players from all over Europe and Morocco. We played in the casino and the casino ensured that we were well lubricated with top quality drinks. Free casino food was offered which looked good but we did not try any of it. Hotel was very nice. Great breakfast was included.

This hotel is definitely not a 5 star as advertised! The hotel is clean and very pleasing. Unfortunately the service is TERRIBLE. Our rooms (we had 2) had no bath towels on arrival. I called 3 times and still never got any, so I had a find a housekeeping cart and take them from there. The same issue is at the pool, on 3 separate occasions the pool was out of pool towels. So we had to take them from the health club and our rooms (they were not happy about that). I expected more form a large chain hotel.

This hotel should cater only to locals

Pros: There was a gentleman next to the concierge desk that gave us very good information about things to do and how to get very good transportation service
Cons: Everything. If they have a big number of tourist ant any given time or a small number they are suppose to give GOOD SERVICE.
Location: Very far from City Center, need a taxi. We went by taxi to Ceuta, and by ferry taxi to Gibraltar(very expensive), visiting the Medina was fun.
Back in March we stayed at a Movenpick Hotel in Pucket and had an amazing experience, we booked this place in Tangier expecting the same quality of service and it was not so. Probably going during Ramadan made things worse, or at least that was the excuse constantly given for lack of services. In order to get access to the beach you have to beg them to unlock the gate, showers at the pool did not work, the place is VERY far away from the city center and you HAVE to take a taxi to go anyplace. Drinks of any kind are VERY expensive. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. For dinner, the Moroccan Restaurant was closed and they were serving a nightly Moroccan buffet by the pool, the buffet opened at the end of the daily fasting period for Muslims, and you have to literally fight your way to the food with the locals who have made reservations for the buffet, once a dish was finished it was not replaced, so being there at exactly the beginning of the line was pretty important. The hotel personal bent over backwards for the locals, to us international tourist it looked like they were doing us a big favor by offering mediocre service. If you speak French, you are fine, if you do not, then it is "gesture language" all the way.
