Blue Sky bed and breakfast was very cozy.

Posted Dec 29, 2016
This bed and breakfast was very comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights over the Christmas weekend and we LOVED IT! The people were very nice and courteous. The building is over 100 years old so it's has its history but overall very well kept. It's in a very quiet area and we enjoyed that part of it. We will definitely go back for vacation again!

The hotel staff made us feel at home. We would ask for restaurant recommendations to items for our room every need was met with friendly service. Our family had a great time making memories at Blue Sky in Taos, NM.

The place to stay in Taos.

Posted Oct 10, 2016 on Hotels
This is our new "go to" place to stay inTaos. Beautiful location, wonderful hosts, delicious fresh B&B type breakfast, hot tub under the New Mexico stars. Resort like but small and personal. Can't wait to go back.

Historic Lodge with Bed ans Breakfast Vibe

Posted Oct 3, 2016 on Hotels
Great place to stay in Taos. This was our first trip to Taos for a weekend getaway. The proprietors at Blue Sky could not have been nicer. The lodge itself is a large, historical building with beautiful beamed ceilings and original artwork throughout. Our room (20) had a beautiful view of the mountains, a lovely and large exterior patio and a kiva fireplace. The carpeting was older and a weird orangy color, however, it was clean and it isn't apparent that the owners are actively improving this very historical property. Breakfast was fantastic! Wifi was also quite good. All-in-all I would stay here again. If you like the sleekness of a corporately run motel- this is not for you. However, of you enjoy a slower pace, excellent service and the beauty of a historic building- I recommend that you give this place a shot.

Thank you for taking time to share such a great review! Since the ownership change in December 2015 we have been actively and intentionally making improvements to the grounds, guest rooms, common areas, customer service and meals. It is amazing to hear that our great work is creating a memorable and unique experience. It is true that the carpet in #20 is clean and we agree that it is a weird, orangy color...for now! Thanks again and we can't wait to see you both again soon :)

Beautiful, just beautiful.....

Second time we have stayed here in the spacious room #17. The walking path has plenty of places to sit & relax. If we get to come to Taos again next year, this is where we will stay.

Best resort in Taos

Posted Sep 28, 2016 on Hotels
The hotel owners are absolutely amazing! Very friendly, kind and willing to help with a good recommendation on where to grab a good dinner or have some fun. They have two of the cutes dogs ever and the place was super clean. The building is beautiful and well taken care of. It felt like you were staying with close friends or family, the family you like to stay with! Property is very nice and cool path to walk on. Very close to the plaza but not right there so it is quiet and peaceful.

Peace and warmth in Taos

Posted Sep 26, 2016
Pros: The beauty and atmosphere of the adobe style building. Being 10 minutes outside of town was relaxing and away from noise and traffic.
Location: Taos area has galeries, restaurants, Taos Pueblo, hot springs, hikes, many things to do close by and as day trips.
We spent 4 nights and loved the gracious spaces and warm atmosphere of this restored inn. Many places in the inn and on the quiet grounds to sit and enjoy the light, birdsong, etc. The staff was very welcoming and went the extra mile to make us comfortable. The place was immaculate. Breakfasts were varied and delicious. We totally recommend Blue Sky and can't wait to return.
