Serves the purpose

Posted Dec 31, 2016
Stayed in this hotel for 7 days on a snowboard trip to Taos. The hotel served the purpose well for a place to crash. The family running the hotel is very nice and seem to be trying to improve the condition - new paint, carpets, pictures on walls. The breakfast is very simple, but that served the purpose too. For an inexpensive place to stay, it was quite adequate.

Good facility, nice and clean hotel.

Posted Dec 26, 2016
Pros: Nice clean room, quiet, everything is function. Good friendly staff.
Cons: Hotel should clean snow from the drive way and walk way around the hotel all the time so no one will get hurt. Improve the breakfast bar and coffee.
My husband and I enjoy staying at the hotel most staff are nice except one man who did registration didn't speak English very good. He is an East-Indian man. He spoke English not clear, it's hard to understand when my husband went to register. The other two staff are good. Breakfast is good, decaf coffee is cold. I wish the breakfast should include boil egg for people who cannot have dairy product. The hotel have cheese omelet. The fresh fruit should include bananas.

Good place to sleep on half pillows

Posted Dec 22, 2016
Didn't replace our room key when it was misplaced on the second day; just used a master key to let us in.

Try another hotel.

Pros: Was able to cancel an additional night without issues.
Cons: The room smelled like cigarett smoke even though it was a smoke free facility.

Dangerous to sleep here!

Posted Oct 6, 2016
Pros: Room was quiet. Although the room was updated, the carpet and hallways showed a bit of wear and tear.
Cons: Smoke alarm missing! Front Desk said, "We know." Hotel is knowingly endangering guests by violating code & not enforcing non-smoking policy.
Location: Convenient location in Taos right on main road. Easy access to any attraction - it's a small town, anyway.

Convenient location. Quiet.

Just needed an inexpensive place to stay while climbing in Taos. Even had free breakfast. A standard Days Inn. Met our needs just fine.

Pleasant Stay

Posted Oct 3, 2016
Cons: Rooms could use a little fine tuning (update light fixtures, fix loose door knobs, etc).
Location: Taos is a great town with lots of things to do. Book your room early for large events, hotels fill up quickly.
Older facility, but hotel was clean and quiet. Coffee and light continental breakfast was ready in the lobby at 6:00 am. Just fine for an overnight stay.

Clean and modern but Spartan

Posted Oct 2, 2016
Pros: Cleanliness and comfortable beds.
Cons: Add tables and chairs to accommodate guests at breakfast. Add more diversified choices to the breakfast selections.
This motel is clean and the beds were comfortable. However, it is very Spartan, and the amenities are few. The breakfast choices were grim, and there were not enough table to accommodate the motel guests. However, it's probably as good as it gets for the price.

Dirty Bathroom

Posted Sep 29, 2016
Pros: Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Cleanliness
Location: Beautiful mountain county roads to drive through the mountains. A lot of native American culture.
Toilet had not been cleaned. Toilet had a black ring around water and streaks of black all around the sides. When I complained about it, the toilet was cleaned on day 3. Bathtub also looked dirty as did the floor.
