Wondeful gem in Taos!

Posted Sep 12, 2017 on Hotels
The Dreamcatcher B&B is just a fantastic place to stay if you are new to Taos. Tucked away from the main drag (if you can call it that), it provides a peaceful getaway but with the accessbility to town. Breakfast food and conversation every morning was delicious and engaging!

Great quiet, welcoming and relaxing environment

Posted Sep 6, 2017 on Hotels
We had pre-booked here for 2 nights while vacationing in Taos. We enjoyed the stay here; it's a very nice, relaxing environment and the hosts/owners are very friendly. It's a real gem. Due to the Hurricane Harvey flooding, we were unexpectedly prevented from flying back home to Houston as scheduled and they graciously allowed us to stay an additional night in the same room (3 nights total). Would definitely go back here over other places.

Ross, We were so glad that we could help by having you stay the extra night that you needed. Hopefully your car was not underwater at the airport and you got home safely. We hope when things get back to normal that you will be able to come back to Taos for another relaxing visit. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience with others. We appreciate that. Prudy & John, Owners/Innkeepers

Thanks so much for taking the time to let others know about your great experience in Taos and with us here at the Dreamcatcher. We do think our location is a real plus - walkable to the Plaza but set in a quiet residential neighborhood that maintains a rural feel. You never know when you'll hear a peacock shout out from the Hanuman Temple across the road, or maybe hear the goats who live next door. We are grateful for all of the people we get to meet, and Jake, our greeter dog, has his own little fan club!! Looking forward to meeting more of your friends, and we hope you can get to Taos again too! Take care. Prudy, Owner/Innkeeper

Delightful oasis.

A welcome oasis in a busy summer tourist season. Lovely hosts, Prudy and John, offer convenient and quiet accommodations with a tempting garden complete with sitting areas and hammocks, only rain prevented our taking full advantage of the grounds.

So glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Although I'm sorry you had some "monsoon weather" during your visit, you know how much we need that rain here in New Mexico. The hammocks will be waiting for you when you visit again! Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with this review! Prudy

Gecko's Garden Room

Posted Aug 8, 2017 on Hotels
Beautiful, comfy, cozy, quiet, peaceful, easy access, lovely view of garden, lovely enchanting garden, worth the price. Great conversations with the owners Prudy and John who were super helpful with suggestions on places to eat, and knowledgeable about times for various events that no one else knew. Nice breakfast choices. Jake, the owner's dog, was fun too.

So glad you found our advice helpful in how to experience Taos for the first time. Whether you are here for the food (We have 25 amazing restaurants!), the adventure (a hike to Williams Lake is always invigorating) or the art (so much art and music is happening all year round), we know you will run out of time to do it all ! So, we will look forward to your next visit! Thanks for staying with us at the Dreamcatcher B&B. Prudy
