Clean, convenient to town older lodgingsPosted Sep 30, 2015
Pros: The interior was upgraded well beyond what was needed
Cons: Perhaps a little more variation on the breakfast menu but even this isn't truely neccessary.
Location: Just north of town and the plaza. Plenty of shops and restaurants within a few blocks.
The only reason I didn't rate this spot as top notch as either we drew the handycapped card or there was a miscommunication. While dealing with a handycapped equiped room it does take a little more effort. Otherwise, this spot was a very well carefed for, carefully modernized establishment.

Pleasant and quiet room.Posted Sep 26, 2015
Our room at El Pueblo was large, clean, quiet and comfortable and included a fireplace and touches of New Mexican decor. Breakfast was extensive, with fresh fruit, biscuits and gravy, and small breakfast burritos among the offerings, all overseen by a most cheerful provider. I would definitely stay there again.

Check-in was easy. The room we were given was not good. We were immediately given a different and better room. The rest of our stay was very good.

Retro motel a few blocks from the center of town. Nice furnishings in large rooms. Very nice patio area where breakfast is served. Good overall experience.

Old but comfortablePosted Sep 7, 2015
Pros: Quaint ambience and friendliness of staff and other residents at the time.
Cons: Parking for the north/east building. Not enough spaces and far from the room. Some screening from neighbors. Couldn't really enjoy the nice balcony.
Location: Enchanted loop is an awesome all day tour through high mountains and ski villages. Fun if you are comfortable with mountain roads. Farmhouse Breakfast
Very nice setting and location. Room is clean and comfortable with plenty of seating. The steps are difficult for older travelers from the "flatlands" and absence of an elevator when carrying a large suitcase is a potential safety hazard. Mobility impaired folks should definitely request lower level. Our particular room looked over fence into a trashy back yard but others on the property have better views. Overall enjoyed the stay and would stay again but wanted to offer fair warning about the upper level in the building on the north/east side of the property.
