“It's a very convenient spot for me to get to the famous Hibbiton Movie set and the room looked exactly like it's advertised on Expedia.”

“Room was spacious, there was a microwave, mini fridge, cooking utensils, stove, couch, table with chairs, toaster, and a kettle. They do offer breakfast for a fee. They don’t have an ac just a fan and a heater. They don’t have a phone either. Wifi connection was good. Town is just a drive away where you can find stores, restaurants and coffee shops. Property is a little outdated but overall it was ok. It was quiet for the most part other than hearing the train or cars passing by. Staff was……

“Arrival & Atmosphere We arrived around 3 PM and check-in was smooth - there was one staff member at the front desk who was expecting us. However, the resort felt unusually quiet, almost empty. During our stay, most facilities appeared closed, including dining and the spa. It’s unclear whether these are only available in peak season. “One of the best places i have stayed in New Zealand! Staff were amazing and very friendly. The best mattress - a proper mattress- ive had during my trip. The mattress was soft enough, not like a board, a full sized queen (not two singles pushed together) and was lower to the ground. Bathroom clean and tidy. Nice thick towels.
