Hi there. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I sincerely apologise for not hearing the bell, I am usually in rooms preparing them for housekeeping staff as soon as guests start to leave and there was a period where portable buzzer was not working and therefor caused me to miss multiple guests when checking-out. In terms of parking, unfortunately this is out of our control due to the layout of the property. We do offer guests parking out the front of the complex when we are full to reduce it being so compact at the rear however is usually suggested to guests with bigger vehicles. We do say that the Lake views are from the balcony area not from inside the rooms this is due to the design of the Motel protecting guests from both the road noise and the strong southerly winds which blast in straight across the lake and road. Yes the parking out the rear is rather a close fit and made worse if people do not park in the middle of the marked spaces. We do ask people if they have a larger vehicle to let us know prior so we can move them out the front of the building but unfortunately this does not happen and can make the situation worse. We thank you for your patience with this - you should have popped in to see me and I would have moved you to the Check In Park ! Love to see you again and remember about the parking. Dear Barry Thank you for taking the time to place your review. Yes it was super hot whilst you were here and most people found that the tower fan in the corner provided enough cooling to allow them to open windows and leave doors closed during the week of extreme heat we were subjected to. We have endeavoured to get air con in but the design of the building will not make this work (( we ensure we do not advertise air con - but then again did not expect these extreme temperatures) I am sorry this spoiled your stay with us - it you had come and seen us we could have arranged another tower fan which would have assisted KInd Regards

To Whom it May concern - we do ask that if any of our guests has an issue that we can look at to make their stay more pleasurable to please come and talk to us directly rather than just post an anonymous review - downgrading our Motel with no way we can work on altering what you were unhappy about

Dear Guest - firstly as the owner I am sorry that you made your comment anonymously so we cannot check which room you were in and therefore which Housekeeper had rushed to get the room ready and left items in the bathroom. For this I can only apologise. As for the gentleman on the desk checking the time - as check in time is from 2.00 pm unless otherwise arranged prior he was no doubt just checking as when you are busy time moves fast and it is often 2 pm arrives before we realise. This was no slight on you and to say that your room was ready is in dispute as we always try and get early unexpected arrivals into their rooms asap as many of our guests will testify. We are also not sure when you were checked in either so again I can only apologise for a bathroom not up to our usual standard and I will remind all staff of this especially when rushing to finish a room prior to 2 pm Hoping this has not put you off returning. Most guests found that using the large tower corner fan certainly cooled the room down for them so it is a pity you did not see us about this while you were here instead of suffering until your review,.
