Quiet and convenient

This is the third time I've stayed in this hotel. It is convenient for my twice yearly meetings. Good hearty breakfast is included. Close to shopping and attractions.

Request for smoke free access to hotel

Posted Oct 16, 2017
Cons: Access to smoke-free rooms should also be smoke-free. It is a health issue.
The guy at the front desk was great, helping me with directions, and checking me in. Although I did have to wait while he assisted other guests. I would advise having an additional front desk person before and after disasters such as Hurricane Irma due to the high traffic. The bathroom in the room was too small and the toilet stopped working. My main complaint is the smokers at the front door. If you have to provide a place for smokers, it should be at the back door or one of the side doors, NOT THE FRONT DOOR where you have to go to check in. Due to health conditions, I had to go way out of my route to find a non-smoking room. And when I get there, I can't get to check in and out of the building without endangering my health. When someone has asthma, inhalant allergies, or other lung or sinus issues books a non-smoking room, then they should be able to get to that room without endangering their health. The affects can be immediate and long lasting. An immediate trip to the emergency room just to be able to breath and not being able to breathe for weeks without lots of expensive drugs, lung infections and sinus infections that don’t go away without more expensive drugs and complete bed rest which means loss of work. I think that people’s health far outweighs the wants of other people to smoke. You should change your rules at all your hotels to protect your guests’ health and to protect you from being sued for all resulting medical bills and loss of work.

Pros: The decor. The staff very pleasant
Cons: The shower. Looked dingy . Not appealing
Location: Was the first time in that town, looked like there was plenty to do
I surprised by the decor of the hotel. Well done. Staff was great. Only complaint was shower looked a little dingy. Could be upgraded.
