Clean and comfortable cabin

Posted Nov 21, 2016
Comfortable and economical place to stay. Cabin came with a TV, fridge, heater, toaster and jug, tea and coffee.

Cheap but you're better off going elsewhere

Posted Oct 30, 2016
Pros: Pro is that this place is cheap and there is a good play area for kids.
Cons: The caravan/room is pretty filthy. Spiders above me, odd black specks near pillow. I didn't use the blankets, I basically wore layers and slept with no blankets. I was seriously considering sleeping in my car. I didn't even stay for the last night, just left. Bathroom has a ton of bugs (living and dead). Basically, this is campground.. bring your own tent (if it is allowed) or sleep in your car.

I was very disappointed that the hot pools weren't usable because the weather had been cold and raining. My cabin was clean, tidy and comfortable.

Thank you Linley for commenting on your stay with us. I m sorry you could not enjoy our little hot pool during your stay. In heavy rain, unfortunately we are unable to keep the heat in our hot pool as there is no roof for protection. However on most nights we have or 6 seater concrete pool in the rocks ready for our guests at 40 o c after 6 pm.

Punked Episode !

Posted Mar 5, 2016 on Lastminute
The holiday camp listed hot mineral pools and a private spa attached to our chalet. So after check in i couldnt open the gate to the attached spa pool so I asked the front of house staff member to come and show me how to work the gate and spa. She was from Japan and when I showed her the situation she said NO and just stood there. So i then changed tack and asked what time the Hot Pools shut as we had been driving awhile and a soak sounded great. She said they closed at 8pm so we grabbed towels and togs and hurried over to the pools which were both completely drained and abandoned.. haha classic. The room was old but cute and very clean and tidy and we had a great night sleep. So how do you review a place like this ? Super wierd but kind of fun as it was so wierd. Good luck !.

Thank you for commenting on your stay. I am glad to read that you found your Cabin cute and tidy. Apologies for your missed hot pool session. I have since employed another assistant and trained him so that he can make pools available to guest when required.

Very accomodating to change dates after a mistake at my end booking online, think we ended up with a small `spare` room but can`t really complain! Great pool and spa, lots of facilities with the kitchen and bathroom.

Nice little cottage, but did smell unfortunately

Posted Jan 14, 2016 on Lastminute
Pros: Cleanliness and staff
Cons: Room smell and beds were very old and poor condition.
Location: Didn't really look around. We're from Auckland and familiar with the area.
Nice view of the mountain, as mentioned, musty smell was very strong and the beds maybe need to be given some attention as they sunk and the double could only sleep one, otherwise we'd both be in the middle! The cottage was very very clean and the staff were lovely and friendly. Great for a one night stopover only for us though.
