Dog friendly

Posted Sep 6, 2017
Location near airport and Lake Hood is the best part of this very dog-friendly hotel. A great place to walk your dog along the lake front is just across the street. Restaurants are nearby. No restrictions on dog size. Rooms are large and clean, but overall condition is deteriorating. Breakfast poor. Room temperature hard to control, no bath mat, no hair dryer, no blanket for bed, no toilet paper holder. Will probably continue to stay here because of price and limited options for big dogs, but be aware this is a basic hotel.

Unpleasant, not going back there

Unpleasant, not going back there. Very unreasonable management. Would not recommend the hotel to anyone.

When leaving your personal items in the guest room and not making arrangements with the office for an extremely late check out at past 7pm you can expect to be charged for the room. You also changed your story as to why numerous times.

Very dated accomaditions

Posted Aug 23, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Just about everything
Location: Close to airport
This accommodation was disappointing. The place simply needs a lot of updating. The breakfast was no where near what I expected expected, especially for the rate charged. I will not recommend this property to anyone.

BEWARE!!!

Posted Aug 17, 2017
Pros: NOTHING
Cons: Housekeeping, appliances, updates
Location: In a sketchy neighborhood.
This hotel is in a sketchy neighborhood that also has sketchy residents. I felt unsafe leaving my car in the parking lot. The room felt like a sauna without an ac. The fan they provided was filthy and gave out no air. Worst hotel I have every stayed at. I can't believe how much they charge, definitely pay extra for a nicer hotel stay.

We strongly encourage our guests to notify us when they are not satisfied or have concerns. Our Hotel is nestled in a nice neighborhood. What did you notice that made you feel uncomfortable? It makes it difficult to look further into your comments when you make yourself Anonymous. However, we do hope that you have enjoyed Alaska!

Trip of a lifetime to Kenai

Posted Aug 9, 2017
Pros: ?
Cons: Take a look at other places and really see what it could be for almost $200 night including g taxes
Location: Location is fine just the surroundings gs
I am surprised that Expedia would have this hotel on it's site. We arrived shuttle driver very nice. Knew it was t the best area... Got to room at almost 4 am. Pulled back sheets. Gross. Moved to another room,,, up and in shuttle 20. I complained to the owner just before leaving he did refund $39. Said Mt rate wasn't guaranteed as I had thought. Really nice guy. Just thinks his place is more than what it is

You may be mistaken for another Hotel property. We have issued no refund to correlates to your comment. What is the name on your reservation? I'd like to take a look at your account.

Towels shouldn't be an issue.

Posted Jul 11, 2017
Pros: The location to the airport was very good.
Cons: It shouldn't be that hard to provide enough towels.
Location: There was a Village Inn restaurant within walking distance. Alaska is very beautiful. Our main destination was Homer on the Kenai peninsula.
Hotel was close to airport-- since we arrived at 1:00 in the morning, it was nice to be so close. We had read a review about lack of towels, and also had that experience. Our room had 2 bath towels, so I asked for more that night. There were none available. In the morning I was given 5 hand towels-- hardly adequate for 5 adults. We also had an issue with bedding for the full size pull out couch -- they brought 2 fitted sheets -- 1 twin size & 1 full size -- very strange. We were too tired to complain. We didn't try the breakfast there, but it looked like slim pickings (when I asked for more towels).

I'm glad to hear that the Airport location met your needs and the large room was able to accommodate your group of 5. The guest rooms are stocked with two sets of towels, additional towels are available upon request. The breakfast consists of a variety of Muffins, Bagels, juice, coffee, tea and cereal. There are good restraunts within walking distance for full / Hot breakfast options.

Thank you for being our Guest! I'm glad to hear that the large 2 king beds and sofa sleeper (376sf) room met your needs. I understand that sofa sleepers are not as comfortable as a normal bed.
