The owners clearly want guests to make the most of the area. An introductory note at booking and a well-stocked room binder provide genuinely useful orientation — not boilerplate. One practical note: I messaged twice through Hotels.com and once via their contact form to arrange a guide in advance and received no response. Once on site, they were happy to help immediately. This is highly irregular behavior and totally unprofessional. I have never had any other hotel do this anywhere in the world."
