Excellent stay and welcomed staff!

Posted Nov 17, 2017
Pros: location location location
Cons: Maybe the breakfast buffet, to provide more selections!
Location: great location, close to the sea
The hotel is located close to sea. Look from outside, it's just an old ordinary white building, I was a little disappointed at first by the outside appearance. Once you walked into the building, and go to the 3rd floor (where the hotel is located) a modern and comfort small hotel is right in front of your eyes. The staffs are very nice to you and they will gave you a lot of information for sightseeing during your stay, there's a trip organized by the hotel to take you to a tour (can't remember the day and time, but they pretty much have it everyday). They also recommend a nice Italian restaurant! The room is small but comfort. Though there is not many selections on the breakfast buffet, the food is fresh and tasty (free!). I will definitely stay again if I will ever go to Tel Aviv in the future.

Friendly, cheaper alternative hotel

Posted Nov 14, 2017
Pros: Cost, location.
Location: Lots of restaurants within walking distance.
The Embassy Hotel isn't much to look at on the outside, but inside you will find a nice charm to it. Located directly across from the US Embassy in Tel Aviv and just steps from the beach, we booked this hotel mainly because the cost was so much cheaper than any surrounding hotels. We figured it might not be the best place, but we're more about saving money than staying in luxury. To our surprise, the accommodations were much better than we were expecting. Our room was very large. It wasn't the fanciest, but had some updated lighting and styling to it and the room served its purpose well. The hotel's inside hallways had cute decor depicting outdoor scenes. The hotel staff could not have been friendlier. They were wonderful. They even called and booked a cab for us to pick us up at 4am on Shabbat, so we could get to the airport on time for our early flight out. The hotel also provided us with a "breakfast in a box" to go on that early morning. There was always pastries, cookies and drinks in the lobby and/or kitchen at all times. If you're looking for luxury accommodations, this isn't the hotel for you. If you're looking to save some money, but still stay in a decent, safe hotel, the Embassy may pleasantly exceed your expectations.

The hotel met our needs but it is a modest hotel

Posted Nov 7, 2017
Pros: Simple and met our needs to be near a wedding party at a very expensive hotel.
Cons: The room was noisy. The mirror is positioned awkwardly. Would love a night light in the bathroom b/c if you keep the main light on, the fan stays on
Location: It is right across from the American Embassy in Tel Aviv. A block's walk to the beach. Perfectly adequate.
Outstanding help at the front desk. Perfect English. Lovely breakfast. Rooms are very modest but if you want a relatively inexpensive hotel with a great location, this is it. No frills but clean and neat and friendly.

Quiet friendly hotel close to beach

Posted Oct 9, 2017
Booked online and booked as pleased with helpful prompt responses to my emails with hotel before our stay. Check in very speedy, stayed in room exactly as we had wished and were delighted with the spaciousness and facilities of our room. Fridge AC bathroom with tub and shower microwave. Everything worked. Fresh towels whenever we wished , separate towels provided for beach. Breakfasts very adequate continental style..cheeses tuna toast borekas etc etc. And refreshments available freely all day. No bar or restaurant. 200ml non kosher wine FOC. No Sukkah during Chag. Staff all extremely pleasant and helpful. Good English spoken.

Acceptable

Pros: The breakfast is good, the room is clean, and the staff helpful. There is a frig.
Cons: The lobby could use some updating. It's also on the second floor so you have to walk up to the lobby.
Location: Across the street from the US Embassy and the beach/restaurants. A few convenience markets are nearby in case you want to stock up on items.
It's convenient to the US Embassy (right across the street), the beach, and several restaurants on the beach. So, if you are looking for that then you should consider it. T However, there is no view of any sort and these are basic accommodations. Staff is pleasant and helpful.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback and your constructive comments. We are delighted that you enjoyed our central location and our rooms. The hotel is 4 years old and the lobby decor has been purposely chosen to reflect the glory days of the 70s. The rooms are naturally totally up to date and feature all the mod-cons. We do have an elevator from the ground floor to the second floor lobby. We are happy to know you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
