Excellent location, excellent services & hygine,

Pros: Family atmosphere , prompt response from staff , excellent business lounge , Clean hotel,fantastic location, welcoming.
Location: Very close to the beach and walking distance to Disengof cafe & resturant. Very easy to get a taxi.
We have stayed many times in this hotel but this time we noticed a great improvement in terms of services, staff politeness ,cleanliness. The breakfast in this hotel is one of the best in Tel Aviv and it is a great place for families to get together. We highly recommend Herods

2 star high rise motel

This could get quite lengthy so I’ll try keeping out excess details. The business center and lobby are nice. Every other aspect is junk. Room service is near non existent and was never delivered accurately, if at all. Staff seemed angry all times of day and often didn’t answer calls downstairs at all. The room had serious maintenance issues. No AC. Gross bathroom. I left To stay at an Airbnb on the same block for 1/5 the price and was much nicer. Would be 1 star but again, lobby and business center were nice.

A Senior Man's View

the stay was great but I will not be able to stay with you next year! We enjoy going to the beach and had to go to the Crown Plaza and Renassance hotels to get out! I don't undwestand why you don't have a door out to the beach area. Your staff were all very polite.

Only disappointment was pool closed they said it wasn't the season however nearby hotels pools were open

Bad reviews are unfair

After I booked I read a number of bad reviews and panicked a bit. As soon as I arrived I realised the bad reviews were completely unfair. The staff were amazing - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was amazing. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The pool area isn't well laid out but a clean outdoor poor that's a stone throw from the beach was gold for young kids.

Visitor Beware

Just came off a very disappointing weekend at Herod's. As others have noted, the rooms are in terrible shape, especially on the lower floors. The pool area is way too small for the number of guests that the hotel holds so finding chairs is almost impossible if the hotel is full. While some staff members were very nice, the hotel is very poorly run and communication between staff is terrible. We had to argue that breakfast was included in our reservation and after a half hour argument, we gave up and paid. At checkout they realized that we were right and refunded it. They also messed up our dinner reservation at the hotel. Finally, after paying through Hotels.com, they tried to charge us again for the room until someone more senior at checkout (after 15 minute argument) came around and saw that we were right. It is not just the facilities that need an upgrade. It is management.....

will never stay at this hotel again

we got the room that was just painted, called front desk, spoke to Saeed and he promissed to do it, and juat simply ignored it. checked in at 8pm, later at night when we came back from the event, spoke to Sandra, have lady, who really wanted to help us, but we didn't want to pack at midnight and change the room. asked for a later check out, was told should not be an issue and we should come in the morning to ask for this exception. When we came, this guy Saeed again gave us an attitude. note to the management, this guy will help you loose more of your future customers. I also own a big company and my receptionist is the face of my company.

Somewhat shabby place. Good location. Breakfast was charged to me without telling me there was any kind of charge for it.
