No ocean view

Posted May 17, 2017
I booked a half ocean view room. I expected to see half sea view as it stated. But I see none. And many constructions around, this is a first hotel that I tried which can hear construction noise....

Good value for money in a pricey location

Posted Nov 12, 2016 on Hotels
Good hotel in really good location, value for money, recently redecorated to high modern standard throughout Friendly staff right through from parking attendant, bar man, receptionist etc. A few little moans that could be easily sorted, self service coffee with only 1 machine so large queues every morning and 1 manual fruit juice press. As mentioned by other reviews their is construction work right next to the hotel this wouldn't normally bother me but the JCB digger started a 6am every morning and their is no double glazing so you hear everything outside even with earplugs in. If your an early riser then this won't bother you. Saying this I would stay here again because of all the good points which outweigh the couple of bad ones

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing such a lovely review of Prima City Hotel. I'm so happy you thought our staff was friendly and that you enjoyed our central location in Tel Aviv. Please let us know next time if you would like a room facing a different direction and we would be happy to move you. Looking forward to seeing you again. Regards, Maya Simonpur, Front Desk Manager

Great Hotel

Posted Nov 1, 2016
Great location - 1 minute walk to beach or Ben Yehuda St, great staff, modern newly renovated rooms, and fantastic in-hotel restaurant - I had breakfast package and Friday evening supper there.

Nice basic hotel

Posted Apr 10, 2016
Pros: The breakfast was great and the hotel staff was friendly. I was helped with my luggage and in securing taxis.
Cons: Renovations are underway, so this should be an improvement.
Location: Near the beach and only a few blocks from restaurants and shopping.
The hotel was a great location, about a block from the beach. At the time of my stay, the lobby was being renovated as well as the property next door, so there was a lot of noise in the mornings. From what I saw being put up in the lobby, I think it will be a great improvement. My room was a bit small, but very clean and comfortable. I was upgraded to a suite, so I can only imagine the size of the standard rooms.

Many good aspects but noisy at present

Posted Apr 8, 2016 on Hotels
Sleep quality poor due to noise from building work outside hotel, and conference room next to bedroom. Rooms were comfortable, clean and with good facilities but bathroom was designed poorly (water leak and difficult cubicle entry). Location excellent being close to beach and central to many shops and restaurants. Also buses from central bus / train station brings you close to hotel. Good fast internet throughout hotel. No fitness facilities. Service was good at breakfast, as was good (good variety).

A hidden gem

Posted Apr 3, 2016
Pros: The helpful staff, paper maps & information, the Kosher breakfast.
Cons: Parking?
Location: Orthodox synagogue & market are around the corner. Three blocks to the beach. Four blocks to Dizengoff street and major shopping and activities.
This hotel has everything a person would want to make their stay in Tel Aviv enjoyable. The hotel staff were extremely helpful, providing us with directions to everything we need. They even had paper maps of the area which they give to the guests to help them find the local amenities. The hotel room itself was clean and the bed very comfortable. The rooms are small, but typical of Tel Aviv hotels. The parking, at $7.50 for a night, was very reasonable for the area, although the parking area is tights. The breakfast was amazing, with all kinds of food, which was very tasty. The food is Kosher and we think this facility has more to offer than the Prima Beach hotel in Tel Aviv. It is not as fancy as the five star hotels in the area, but the price is literally half as much. This hotel is really a hidden gem.
