Wonderfully Located...nice staff...room too dull.

Posted Nov 27, 2016
Pros: The location, the staff...the food.
Cons: Remove the broken air conditioner from the room 601...replace the stained carpet, and paint the room and bathroom with colors, not just white.
Location: Lots of restaurants and cafe.
I liked the staff..very helpful. The location is wonderful and the room, Studio, was clean but dull looking. No pictures on the wall, the paint is plain white, with no design...bathroom is large and comfortable, but could use some colors, not just white. Carpet was stained, and the air conditioner was broken and not in use...should have been removed. The lounge is nice and the snacks were also very nice between 3 and 6 p.m.

Good location, needs renovation

Posted Nov 11, 2016
Location: Residential neighborhood, shopping
This was my third time at this hotel because it is very close to where I need to be in Tel Aviv. The hotel is in a bad need for renovation, not only a face-lift. Everything works OK, but is dated. Wooden panels in the elevators are badly scratched, the tables in the breakfast room are flimsy and shaky. However, considering that it is reasonably priced, staying there for two days was OK.

Real Bare Bones

Posted Aug 13, 2016
Pros: Just the complementary breakfast. The staff was helpful.
Cons: Properly clean the bathroom. Expand the lobby so it looks like the large hotel it is. A couple of pictures on the walls would not hurt.
Location: Shop and walk to the diamond exchange, too far from anything else. You either take a bus or a cab to get to anything you want to see.
No fancy picture's, furniture or paintings, all walls are flat white. Someone should go over the bathroom tile with some Tilex and a brush. Housekeeping doesn't seem to know what facial tissues are and when asked just gave us more toilet paper. If lobby was any smaller it would be a walk in closet. This is particularly strange since the building is 16 stories high. Further, everything closes Friday afternoon until Saturday evening for religious services. We were forced to go to the beach area for dinner since the large hotels and restaurant's there stayed open for the tourists.

Nice hotel to get over jet lag

Posted Mar 30, 2016
I only stayed here one night, my first night in Israel. I had taken the train and bus to Ramat Gan to visit and old friend and decided I was just too tired for another bus ride to go to the hostel where I was planning on staying. The Rimonim was a close walk and obviously much nicer than what I would have gotten at a hostel. The room was very comfortable, the hotel staff was friendly. My only complaint was I couldn't find the light for the bathroom. All in all it was a very pleasant stay and I would recommend to anyone.

Definitely not 4* - perhaps 2.5*

Posted Oct 17, 2015
Pros: Bed was actually quite comfortable.
Cons: Complete refurbishment required.
Expected a proper 4* hotel with the Rimonim name - but very disappointed! Parking not available (repair works) so spent 20 mins driving around looking for a space on the street (at around midnight, when I arrived). Hotel did not have reservation (but possibly Expedia's problem) - luckily the receptionist was helpful and gave me a room. Hotel is quite run-down and everything shouts "cheap" - from the wall-mounted soap dispensers in the room, to poor cleaning standards in the public areas, no curtain in bathroom window, so one can see into the bathroom / toilet from outside / no toilet amenities (tissues / shampoo etc), no mains outlet near the desk so one has to run a cable across the bed to get one's laptop working, damaged surfaces on bedroom furniture, rusty windowsills. Generally, ugh.... Just a tired, dirty, hotel that gives Rimonim such a bad name.

False advertising, not a 4 star hotel.

Posted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: Location being close to local shops. However, the location is terrible because it is right by the side of an intersection. Yes, there is no parking.
Cons: There is nothing you can do to improve on this old dingy hotel. You should downgrade it to a 2.5 star to be honest to your clients.
Location: Local shops and cafes.
Expedia says that it is a 4 star hotel but it is more like a 2.5 star. The small lobby and reception is manned by one person. It took her about 30 minutes to check me in. She was trying to work through issues with two other guests while I wait. When she could serve me, she did not find my name. After a while she declared that I had checked in! For whatever reason, her computer record showed that I had checked into the hotel earlier in the day. After checking with her supervisor and upon my suggestion, she called the room. No one answered. Then she felt comfortable giving me the key even though I have the reservation paper from Expedia and my passport proved that I was the real guest.
