Great hotel!

Posted Jul 12, 2016
Nice modern hotel with great location adjacent to the beach and close to restaurants and shops. Rooms on the smaller side but very efficiently designed and well maintained. Bar, restaurants, spa, and very nice pool. Excellent breakfast buffet well worth the extra cost per day. Personal Nespresso coffee machines in room a nice surprise. Terrific mattress and bedding. Highly recommended.

Our initial room was outdated and subpar. Gabi at the front desk moved us to a more acceptable room given the condition of the hotel.

Perfect location

Best location. Opposite LaLaLand Beach which is buzzy and busy. Staff helpful. Room decent size. Clean. Free wifi. Free beach towels. Great swimming pool area. Sheraton is def one of the better hotels in Tel Aviv.

Tolles Hotel in Strandnähe

Posted Apr 16, 2016

Posted Apr 4, 2016 on Hotels

We are pleased that you enjoyed your overall stay and were satisfied with the service and standards at our property. We appreciate that you are a Shabbat Observer and are terribly sorry for the inconvenience you encountered with regards to the late check out on Shabbat. Please accept our sincere apologies. Dishonest policies

Posted Mar 30, 2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Honest and transparent policies.
Hotel ok for a chain and a one night stay. But be careful because they have dishonest and tricky policy in regard to breakfast. Every hotel in Israel provides breakfast along with the hotel charge, and I have been to many hotels over the years of traveling to Israel. When I checked in to the Sheraton the concierge pointed out to me where the breakfast room was for next day breakfast, but neglected to tell me that the hotel charged extra for the breakfast. After breakfast the next morning I was charged $25 per person (3 of us had breakfast) for a total of $75 and then they informed me that the breakfast was not included in the price. Rather than arguing I decided to just pay. When I ultimately looked at my credit card bill I discovered they had charged $100! They charged for a fourth person in our group who did not even have breakfast. Now I have to go through the trouble of disputing the charges with my credit card company. There are many other hotels that you can go to that are just as nice as the Tel Aviv Sheraton and do not engage in such sneaky practices.

Dear Warren; Thank you for sharing your experience on Expedia. As we have indicated in our email to you, the reservation was booked via Expedia was on room only basis. Although Expedia site also offers rates for reservation on a bed and breakfast basis, the reservation you chose to book did not include breakfast. This is a common practice worldwide to offer a room only, and bed and breakfast rate. We do apologize if you understood that the rate you booked included breakfast however, this was not the case. On a positive note, we are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the hotel’s location. We hope this experience will not deter you from returning to the Sheraton Tel Aviv and we look forward to making your next visit a positive one. Kind regards, Jane Yacoubzadi Public Relations Manager
