Everything about The Peaks is five star. All staff were willing jump in to help regardless of their title. The rooms were pristine and the housekeeping staff were exceptional given all our ski gear spread out everywhere in the room. The pool facility is also exceptional. The ski valet is top notch. Plan on extra cash for tipping. My only gripe is that the ski in is easy, but the ski out requires you to ski down to the learning area to then take a lift up to the main base area. My entire family loved our stay.

The setting, the restaurant and the staff are excellent. The spa was a little disappointing as it was short staffed so we could not get the treatments we wanted.

TV did not basically work at all, the hot tub was not available and I really don't know what you get for the spa fee, I needed to heat up something in the microwave but there were none available.

Hotel was clean, staff was great. We traveled eith a dog and they were kinf enough to bring up a dog bed & bowls for her. Room also had a great view. Would stay again.

It was a really nice property, with nice amenities. The room was spacious and well appointed. My only disappointment was the TV reception was really bad, to the point that we couldn't even watch anything.

For 500.00 a night this hotel is definitely not worth it Everything closes at 9pm so if you are hungry forget it They have vending machines selling junk food on the 2nd floor that’s it The tV did not work our entire stay and their excuse was “the cable company” is working on it For 3 days they are “working” on it Overall this is jot a 4-5 star “resort” by any means 25.00/ day for what exactly?’ No amenities other than a pool and so called gym Definitely will not be staying here again

Nice but lacking
The resort/hotel grounds are nice and Altezza restaurant is amazing. The room was nice and had great views but obviously old and had seen many "handy-man" type repairs. The exterior of the building from our balcony was looking fairly shabby. I'd have a hard time paying full price of over $400 per night. Also, the magic show was amazing. Great intimate venue with a fantastic performance.

I don’t care for there not being a choice to park your own car or not. Not enough food choices/restaurants/snack bars,etc. coffee shop should be open longer. Sink was clogged on both sides. Shower in desperate need of update/recalling Looked dirty/moldy/outdated. Pull out couch was bent and no sheets were provided. Big ordeal made and after a couple hours was tired and didn’t want to keep arguing with staff (who didn’t know English) and one of the managers - Rosa. For a hotel to charge this much I would think service would be way better. Very disappointed. Wasn’t given option of other room. daughter had to sleep on broken bed. Was told a newer mattress should have been on, but wasn’t. Spent too much time when should have been sleeping and relaxing. Not arguing with front desk through Expedia. Very rude behavior. People checking in at the pool seemed like they were high or something. Not sure what was going on. It’s a beautiful property, but don’t feel it’s run as it should be. More emphasis should be put on guests. The hotel seem like it was half open and it felt not very inviting. I had saved up to bring my two children and was disappointed. Parts of the pool area seemed like it deserved more cleaning. The bushes trimmed and trash was all around. Rusted metal I the pool drainage area, Hot tub needs to be revamped. Seems like so much more could be done. A computer was playing music for the whole pool which could barely be heard.

We enjoyed our stay at The Peaks Resort and Spa. The Mountain Village is a nice, quiet area with an easy walk to the Gondola for transportation to explore Telluride. Our room was nice and the beds are comfortable, but the rooms do not have A/C. It would have been nice to have more outlets in the room. The bathroom and coffee nook were the only outlets easily accessible. The valet staff was excellent and very friendly.

Beautiful location and nice property. However, was a bit worn in the room appearance. Could use some maintenance and not having air conditioning could make the room too warm. We had all windows open and the box fan running and were not very comfortable even with the temp in the low 50s overnight. For the room rate I will try another resort next time. Staff was nice, not overly helpful.
