1) The hotel is just outdated for an Embassy Suites in general, needs some serious renovations.
2) The rooms are paper thin. I can hear the person above me walk to and use the restroom.
3) At midnight, I awoke halfdressed to see a hotel employee letting a stranger into my room who claimed it was theirs. Not only is this a complete invasion of my privacy, it is a safety issue and a sign of poor management and controls at this hotel. The person let into my room could have stolen from me or cause me physical harm had I not awoken from my sleep. Furthermore, It was impossible to fall back asleep after waking up in a terror when a stranger entered my room. I was PAYING for a restful sleep, or at least I thought so. When I confronted hotel management about it the next morning, they were rude, unapologetic, and just defensive about the situation. They offered nothing to make the situation right.
4) I am a repeat customer of this location as I have been traveling to Temecula for business 2 times a year for the last 3 years. Every time the staff ask me if this is my first time, just another sign that they clearly don't care about my repeat business. I've been staying at this hotel due to it's convenient location and brand. However, there are MANY options in the area and I will be choosing something different next time.
