Hotel in need of serious upgrades

The hotel was fair at best. Bathroom was old. Drain was slow and tile was dirty. The bed was uncomfortable but that may be a personal issue. We will not stay there again.

Pros: The mountains are pretty.
Cons: EVERYTHING
Location: Not much and it's too dark to even walk around the grounds.
If you are more comfortable staying at a modern hotel, this is not the place to stay. We felt like we were back in the 1970's and not in a good way. The rooms are old and smell musty. The mattresses probably haven't been replaced in years....so uncomfortable, and the whole place, inside and out is way too dark! The people at the front desk were NOT friendly and acted like they didn't have time to answer questions.... The restaurant and bar closes way too early and there is nothing to do there once the sun goes down. Also, not a kid friendly hotel at all. Will not stay there again.

Location is best for playing golf there.

The food was good but waited for long time. I called before I make the reservation about the gym. I was told there was a full gym but I found out most of the machines are rusted, not working, no mat to stretch, and no water. Very disappointed! .

The staff was very courteous. Quality of the facility was great. The views were breathtaking!

Romantic getaway

Played a quick 9 holes, only $25! Pretty course. Dinner was wonderful..try the Halibut. Room was very quiet, comfortable bed.

Where was Customer Service?

We truly enjoyed the amount of space in the hotel room. We loved the many channels on the television to choose from. We did not use pool even though it was close to our room. We loved the grounds, the landscapes and the white lights in the evening. One morning we had ants crawling on the vanity and night stand. The next morning there was still ants on vanity and ground near night stand. We did tell the front desk about our concerns. The 2nd night they did not replenish our bar s soap and shampoo. After we called to inform them of the problem; it took over 2hours to receive some. My husband went to the front desk to get some and they do not carry any up front; which I feel is a BIG mistake.

We are so sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with ants. We spray the property often, but with rain and lush vegetation, they can find their way indoors. I have passed the concerns regarding shampoo and soap replenishment with the housekeeping manager and General Manager so we can make the necessary adjustments to prevent this from happening in the future.
