Good hotel for the price

Good hotel for the price. Clean, friendly staff. TV was not working properly. Plumbing is quite old.

Close to where we needed to be

This hotel was not very clean. All the non smoking rooms smelled like smoke. In the room we were in the tub had a very large crack in it. It was covered with a bath mat but you could feel it with every movement. I will not be staying there again

Convenient location but not as promised

Was told that the first floor was under construction so we were out on the third floor and told that everything was new and had been done already. Lights in half of room didn't work, bathroom had maintenance issues, towels were stained and dirty. We were in town for a tournament and got in late so didn't complain until morning after the free breakfast turned out to be a joke. Kids saw a waffle maker in the pictures....no waffle maker just oatmeal, cereal and toast. Was charged a different price then reserved at. Will be emailing GM.

The rooms are dingy and old and the entire hotel is in desperate need of an update. Furniture is worn and there are holes in the sheets and the carpet could use a deep clean if not a complete change out. The elevator is broken buttons and the doors open VERY slowly. It needs service. The hotel staff is friendly, but it doesn't make up for the run down rooms and overall property appearance. This is NOT a 3 star property. It barely makes a 2. It does look like they are making efforts to improve some of the rooms. It did look like there were a couple of rooms closed for upgrades so hopefully that will move quickly and bring the property back in line.

Our first bad experience at a hotel

Arrived at night, it was cold outside and after checking into the hotel proceeded to go to our room. Once at door, keys did not work - had to go back into hotel lobby to report the problem while family waited outside in the cold. Service person that was sent found out door lock mechanism was out of batteries, he was quick at fixing it and also put us into the adjacent room while he worked sonwe would not be out there in the cold. Once we were able to go into our room found out there was no tv on living room side. Room had a small kitchen but faucet would leak water when it was turned on. Handles to bathroom faucets were not secured and came off when used. On second day of our stay water was off while we were trying to take a shower. When issues were presented to the person at lobby he would try to fix things but he could only do so much. When we tried to check out early to move to another hotel they woukd not reimburse the money for unused nights. Bad experience overall

The sent me to a room where I almost barged in on a woman that was in the room. As for the room it was OK. Breakfast the next morning, well I have had better breakfast in jail.

Good hohel for the money

Good hotel for the money. Friendly staff. Clean room. Plumbing is old and not well functioning. Taking a shower is a challenge

All new check in staff

The hotel itself is a little old, but the rooms are a good size and comfortable. The pool area is very nice. The bathroom cabinets were dirty and the coffee pot had old coffee in the bottom of it. The big problem was that the entire check in staff was apparently new. We waited while a man, who played his deposit in cash, tried to check out. He was there when we walked in, and we waited 20 min. while 2 different people tried to figure out how to return his money, when she kept saying they had already checked his room for damage. Then one if the 2 trying to check us in didn't know how to make a key. I would still recommend this hotel. For the price, room and location, it's worth it.
