End of year issues with room keys. Locked out!!

Pros: Close to downtown ASU and vicinity.
Cons: Better room key technology and perhaps a change of management up top!!!
Location: ASU vicinity and Tempe has nearby Shopping centers nearby on Rio Salada Pkwy. Scottsdale, Mesa areas not far away.
Check-in was okay. Staff okay except when there were room key issues. One guy was so upset, demanded a refund & had to go to another motel/hotel. End of year room key issues. Sucked badly. No offer or special consideration from the manager. Not too encouraging at all. No wonder people left and went elsewhere.

Fijibowler...thanks for the feedback. Just came on board the 3rd of January so from comments happened a couple of weeks ago. Could you elaborate? Was this a one time issue with keys or ongoing? Need to drill into this please. As far as location, glad you enjoyed the central location!

Terrible

Showed up at 9:30pm to check in and was greeted in the lobby by another couple complaining and an obviously flustered Front Desk attendant. When it was my turn I was told that my card was charged but they had given my room away because I didn’t check in by 6pm and I would just have to “suck it up ” because it wasn’t his problem. He said there might be one more room left because they were sold out. He went to check and when he came back he said they was room but the bed wasn’t made, otherwise it was clean. Considering everything in the area was sold out we and sleeping in the car was my only other option I opted for the room. I was handed all my bedding and told I would have to make my own bed. When I got in the room it had not been cleaned at all. Dirty towels, trash, overall filthy. When I found blood all over the sheets I opted to leave and rough it in the car. Horrible service. I will not be back.

Worst Place EVER

Pros: None
Cons: Everything
The room was very poor. The fire detector was hanging from the ceiling, worn pattern on the walls, TV was static with lines across the screen, and blanket had holes in them. Finally, BED BUGS.

Close to ASU

Very clean and it's on the light rail which made it convenient to get to and from ASU.

Night from down under

1st room I walked in on someone. second room was dirty beds not made. 3rd room was a charm .if u like black mold in the shower. drain overflow missing wall was all wet in shower from room upstairs leaking and to too it of I now had to have an exterminator come spray my place for cockroaches due to Roches in my bag I have stay at this location alot but will never stay there again I never even got any sorry nothing

Non-smoking room??

Requested a non-smoking room but the linens had cigarette burns. Even the toilet seat looked as though it had burn marks.

In the middle of Transientville.

Pros: The beds appeared clean and were made upon arrival. There was one complimentary bar of soap and two partial rolls of toilet paper.
Cons: Fix the tub: spigot and pipes (in that room blue was hot water and red was cold). Actually discourage partying, hallway smoking & transient traffic.
Location: Metroline is readily available. Do not recommend travelling on foot.
Not one positive thing to say. Arrived at 10 p.m. but they had to verify that the room was "done being cleaned". That took 10 minutes or so before he processed the check in. Leaky tub (not drip-drip, but constant flow), fully lit room (black-out curtain does not provide coverage) all night to help us stay awake with the inconsiderate partying groups on both sides of our room, ring around the tub, no amenities (no clock, no shampoo, no drawer), 2 towels and 1 washcloth for 3 adults, the metroline is right there but so are the many, many transients that also occupy the hallway and stairways overnight, They did "comp" us the wifi code in exchange for a good review. However, when we tried to access it we got the "already in use" message. There are too many other budget motel options. The one I opted for the second night of my stay put Motel 6 to shame.

Scary place to stay.

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything.
Location: Scary and nothing to do nearby.
The only good thing about the hotel was the pool area ( which we never used). The room was outdated and I wouldn’t take a shower because I felt I would be dirtier than before I got in. Nothing like the pictures. Seemed to have shady people living there full time with cats that scratched the screens and people strung out on drugs hanging around. Planned to stay four days but only made it through the first night before changing hotels.

Great customer service

Ceaser is the best front hotel clerk. He went beyond customer service. Unfortunately the housekeeping staff fell short from the great customer service I first received at check in..
