Our Disappointing Hotel experience

Pros: The pool
Cons: Highly upgrade a few rooms to Ultra Firm Beds
Location: None at this time
Because of bad backs and past back operations, I requested ahead of time ( if possible ) extra firm beds (mattress).The hotel could not upgrade our bed and was mentioned to us that all they had was bed boards. Ladies and Gentlemen, we live in a retirement (state) and I believe that a few rooms should be upgraded to Ultra Firm beds and the front desk should ask or mention If someone would like these types of beds. Until this is completed, " The Buttes in Tempe, Az " will loose our business.

Great Sanctuary in the middle of the city

Pros: Views with serenity. Great breakfast
Cons: Wifi availbility
Location: Close to everything
Our stay at the Buttes was fantastic. Beds are very comfortable, helpful and friendly staff, great views. The only 2 things that bothered me was that the top of the rock restaurant was under renovation during our stay, so we didn't get to enjoy dining there, and that the wifi wasn't working, so I had to go to the nearest starbucks to do some wok. Otherwise, I highly recommend it

Nice hotel, central to local attractions!

We've been staying at The Buttes 12 years! We thoroughly enjoy the breakfast buffet, pool and pool side services, comfortable rooms and super friendly staff that go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be! We appreciate the fact that it's a great hotel close to Chase Field...go D-backs! We look forward to our annual vacation to AZ and The Buttes! Highly recommended!

Hotel is ok. I wouldn't recommend to anyone

Power was out when we checked in. Not one staff member told us we would be packing our luggage Up 3 flights of stairs in the dark to our room that had no lights or A/C. Then had the balls to charge me to park my own car. The intire hotel is run down. I won't stay here again.

relaxing stay

I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. We spent most of the day by the pool. The water was clean and warm. My children enjoyed the water slide. At night, you can walk around and enjoy the scenery.

Bad service!

Horrible service, room was dirty and the check in was a nightmare. Very unprofessional. It made our whole trip bad.

Rooms are always clean, staff is extremely nice & helpful. We've been the the buttes often & will be back.

Very convenient - near the airport and highway, but the pool is tucked away so it doesn't seem close to the city.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. I wish hotels.com would have said more visibly that we had to pay for parking especially because the parking lot belongs to the hotel.
