It takes only 30 minutes to get to Central Park from there and it is so peaceful and quiet that I will consider it a steal. The hotel is clean and nice, thought a bit dated and half of the facilities is not working (no restaurant, no breakfast), - that's fine with me! There is a nice peaceful plaza nearby with all sorts of diners and coffeshops, so no complaints here. Overall impression: it is a nice place to stay if you're willing to drive for 30 minutes to Manhattan. Thin walls; I heard the conversations in the next room.
