Rented 3 rooms. No a/c in one room, only had a small fan. Another room had no towels in bathroom. Last room had broken a/c, barely blew cold air. It was in the 90s during our stay there.

This was probably one of the worst hotels I have stayed at. They put us in a room with a broken AC. The capet by the AC was soaking wet and their fix for this was to put a dirty box fan on top of the unit, which blew out semi cool air. This would not be at issue, if the temp outside wasn't in the 90's. The wallpaper was peeling in areas and their solution for this was blue painters tape to hold it down. Over all the room just looked dirty. This was not something I expected for the cost. Then on the last night of the stay, the power in the hotel went out. While this was to no fault of the hotel or staff, trying to get some sort of a runfund took longer than it should have since the manager didnt respond to email. I did have to leave early because of the outage and the staff offered a refund in the place of that inconvenience. Just overall a bad stay.

My "go to" place when staying in North Jersey for many reasons. Price, excellent location, walkable to many food establishments, friendly staff, plenty of parking, etc. I know it is an older hotel but there are upgrades coming soon...

This place was convenient for our family visit in Tenafly area. The building conditions are old and dark, need updates badly.. but room was clean and comfortable. One staff quite curt, the other very helpful and friendly.

Starting from our friends room - Bed Bugs! Our room - Old carpets and bathroom in sad condition. Need to be redone! Toilet won't flush properly. Faucets not working properly. Drywall around sink and tub water damaged.

Not the best experience. The hallway that I used to walk to the room was under renovation on the third fooor. And I was two doors down from the wall appearing under construction. Very dusty and stuffy. In the room, AC was not working even though I tried to decrease the temperature. Felt air but it was on a very low speed even though the thermostat said “High.” It felt humid inside and I was sweating in bed. The hallway was the same temperature. Walked to the front desk where I CLEARLY felt air conditioned air. Spoke to front desk and requested a room change. She instead called the engineer. He came to turn some things and said it “wasn’t circulating the air” though he agreed feeling the same low speed air I mentioned. Ultimately, he provided an electric fan to blow what little cold air came out. I would have preferred a new room but decided to sleep since I had to travel the next day. The walls were peeling behind the TV and saw black mold in the bathroom. In the morning on checkout I discussed my issue with Soma who stated he couldn’t provide compensation as I booked through a third party. I came per recommendation of friends. I rarely write poor reviews but I may not return.
