A great clean, quiet, safe & classy place to stay

Pros: Safety, quietness, cleanliness, good amenities and location in a good neighbourhood.
Location of this hotel is great. It is a quiet, convenient, safe area, not too far from the main highways. The facility is clean. Room is spacious and clean at a reasonable rate. The bed is very comfortable and the amenities in the room are good and useful in making your stay comfortable.Staff is friendly and helpful. I have stayed here before and will continue to stay when in this area.

Local Hotel

Cons: Beds could be replaced. Far too soft.
Location: Very close to center of Town.
The basic Inn was acceptable. Not overly luxurious. Close to all activities we had planned. Tenafly is a very lovely town.

The hotel itself is very dated and is dirty. The elevators were out of order.

The hotel was located nearby family we were visiting and was recommended by them. We were very pleased with the clean and comfortable rooms. The restaurant on site not only convenient, but had great food too! We will definitely stay here again on our next visit!

Pros: Cleanliness and Abundance of Amenities
Cons: Elevator is showing it's age and wear and tear. Need Baggage carts on 2nd Floor .
I arrived at nearly 3 am in the morning , long after my stated arrival time following a published landing of my plane of "10:30 pm " which in fact turned out to be more of a midnight arrival followed by a 2 hour ordeal through US Customs at JFK; but desk clerk on duty was professional, polite and literally in under 30 seconds time he was handing me my room key card.

Air conditioner broken

Some of the staff is rude. The air conditioner didn't work. But they did refund me 50%

Clionton Inn - we will stay there again.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Clinton Inn. It is easy to get to, the staff is friendly and helpful, and it is very quiet. Although the building is dated, it is clean and the amenities are up to date. "Downtown" Tenafly has a nice variety of small shops and restaurants.

Slow start ok finish.

Had to change room because it was too hot from the sun. Hotel changed room but that room smelled musty/cigarette smoke. Room was clean, however. Hotel is convenient to a nice, safe quaint town with very quick walking to any convenience you can think of.

Comfortable hotel in nice neighborhood

Stayed for two nights. Room remained cool during record heat outside. Plenty of room in underground parking deck to keep my car cool too. New York City bus stops right outside hotel. Also, good restaurants within walking distance.
