Authorities have to revalidate the claim of this hotel being 4 star hotel. It our opinion it is not even one star. - has tv but not working - has fridge but not working - has Internet but takes 1 hr to download 1mb data - excellent Christmas Dinner which was recycled for 3 days Very very unfriendly staff which refused to give glass of water for a child who was desperately need of water, as we were half bearded. No/limited transportation facilities to main tenerife attractions. We stayed here for 7 days with more or less same Dinner/breakfast on almost all days. It has kids play area which was too expensive. I would sincerely request guests to look for alternatives accommodation rather than this place which does not care for customers service. When i requested staff for glass of water, response was "we have rules to follow and we cannot break rules and give water to our halfboard customers during lunchtime" this is the attitude of staff here.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. It was a generous space with apply cooking and eating facilities. The room is plain - no frills - pictures, ornaments etc. We had buffet meal in the evening and good choice well presented. Same with breakfast,good selection tasty etc. Cannot comment on the location as we were there one night.

Wouldn’t recommend
The beds were horribly uncomfortable and slid around on the ground like skates. The comforter was hardly a blanket. Also, I drank the tap water and became sick with a stomach bug almost immediately. Was in bed for the next 12 hours.

Saved us!
We had to book last minute due to a flight cancellation by the disgraceful Wizz air. The hotel is 10 mins from airport, has a local bus for 2.70 single fare or 13 for a taxi. The area is quiet but nice view close to the sea. Few shops and restaurants / bars around. The hotel is large, a tad dated but I paid 60 for a one night stay with breakfast for two last minute so can't grumble at all. The hotel has an amazing shop where you can buy CHEAP alcohol. 3 for bottle of ok wine, food a tad expensive. Hotel was ean, nice pool, happy hour offers etc. All in all a good stay under the circumstances. Breakfast was ok in the morning.

We have stayed at the Golf Plaza many times and have never been disappointed! We stayed in a 2 bedroom appt with my elderly parents. The accommodation was clean and spacious and the “welcome pack” of essentials and addition of robes and slippers was much appreciated! We used the restaurant for dinner on 4 of our seven nights and were really impressed with the quality and choice of food. We also felt that the hotel operated very safely in terms of Covid. The staff in the reception, restaurant and poolside bar were all very friendly. We will definitely be going back!

I loved the view on the ocean and the variety of trees and greenery in the outside area. I loved also the outside breakfast area where you could sit in the sun and still with an ocean view.

From the moment we arrived and checked in to leaving the whole experience of the hotel was top class. Checking in, parking at the hotel, the room, the location and they even printed off some documents for me from my email account. Couldn’t fault the hotel at all and the staff were super friendly and excellent.

This day was fantastic in the hotel staff was absolutely brilliant they need to have more entertainment the sofa bed in the living room is very hard to sleep on needs to be a bit higher for people with bad backs on the TV need to upload channels for the English people are to have sky so they can choose any channels they wantWe had a fantastic time staying there and we recommend going back

The girl at reception (Veronica) was one of the friendliest people I have ever met at a hotel reception. Friendly, informative and all with a smile. Hotel room very spacious and well furnished. Hotel pool area lots of room and beds. ,

This hotel was described as having sound proof rooms, IS DOES NOT!!!! i need another holiday, i woke at 6am every morning with the bins being brought in and out, i could hear my neighbour's going to the bathroom. I approached reception twice, was offered another room which was out onto a busy main road, was told management would look into it and never heard anymore. Not a hotel for kids, very little for them to do, food was ok, rooms are old and dated and grubby, but very specious, kept finding cockroaches. Do not stay here, spend your money more wisely.

Property is supposed to be a 5 star hotel. This is a 4 or 3 star hotel in reality. My room was a 3 star for sure. The gym and spa were closed, something I was not informed when I booked the hotel. They have NO shuttle service to the airport, even though it can seem like they have in the hotel description. They have free WiFi ONLY in the common areas, speeds that wouldnt impress you in 1995. If you want WiFi in the room you have to pay, about 5 Euro per day. Then you go to the room, and there is no signal. Stay away from this place

This is the perfect place for a quiet place in Tenerife, lovely peaceful hotel. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel-so handy for under 2 euros you can travel into Los Cristianos Beach in 20 minutes or I can highly recommend taking the bus the other direction to el medano- this is a gorgeous beach with some really great cafes and restaurants lots of windsurfers and a more Spanish feel. Also on this same bus route you can stop off at los abrigos marina another lovely area. Again this takes 20 minutes and 1.45 euros. Absolutely do the trip up the teide volcano and national park. This was such a highlight. The views are incredible and it’s a really beautiful place to see. We also did a surf lesson down on playa de las americas-which was brilliant fun! This hotel was a perfect location-if you want a peaceful quiet stay then a nip either side 20 minutes on the bus to other locations. The hotel also has an onsite supermarket to stock up. For food the marina has some nice tapas, also 15 minute walk to some lovely tapas restaurants-tapas and chill great for gluten, veggie, etc. Also don’t be put off as we are the “shopping centre” for food is actually a rather lovely indoor market feel-with a great fish restaurant and lovely vibe-a nice 20 minute walk x

Overall, this was a good hotel for the price paid. 99% of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, although we felt a little let down in one interaction with one of the reception staff upon our arrival. The rooms were very clean, but the pool area had quite a lot of litter, partly due to the laziness of some people but also due to the wind blowing rubbish around- bins with lids would be a helpful addition. The apartment and balcony were very spacious and comfortable. The local area is quiet but has some lovely walks to the small nature reserve to the west and villages towards the airport to the east. Siam Park is easily accessible via a local bus service (change at Las Chafiras), as is the airport (service 415). The food at the hotel was excellent; we enjoyed every meal and the variety of food offered was more than enough. I would definitely stay here again during October half-term.

Good value hotel though not 5 star, clean and spacious apartment, comfortable beds. Nice seafront walks both directions. Not enough sunbeds though we went in school half term and so would probably be OK outside of those times.
