First visit to Tenerife

Pros: Luxury
Cons: Better food offerings for evening meals .... Like an international buffet style which other hotels have
Location: Great location, near botanical gardens and easy walk to nearby town for shopping
Excellent hotel, hidden away, and lovely tropical garden ..and spa, The only negative point was regarding the Thai restaurant being shut, this meant the choice of food was very low

Lovely staff and location

Cons: Improving the family pool. Maybe granting access to families to the outside spa pool (only the outside one of course) a couple of hours per day.
Location: There is a black sand beach 2 kms away and the local town pool which is huge and great fun. Plenty of places to eat/drink around as well as shops.
We were 4 in our party: a 9 year old, a teenager and 2 adults. We all enjoyed our stay at Hotel Botanico. The staff were one of the highlights, as everyone from the front desk to the restaurant to the cleaning staff was friendly, kind and helpful and always tried to help us with any request. We were able for instance to reserve a rental car at short notice though the hotel and it was delivered and collected from the hotel, which was just perfect for us. The breakfast buffet made everyone happy as there was a good choice of foods on offer, diner is quite a formal affair but reliably good and enjoyable. The terrace at the Italian restaurant is particularly pleasant for diner as you get to watch the sunset. The spa, access to which is included in the room rates, is well designed, pretty and well kept. The spa has the best and nicest outside pool of the hotel: if you're an adult/couple this will probably be a plus for you, for us as a family group it was the only downside as it is off limits to anyone under 16. So there is only one pool which you can use with kids, it's not as nice as the one outside the spa and it is extremely deep at one end (over 3 meters) so it wouldn't suit kids who aren't confident swimmers. The so called children pool is only about 30 cms deep so it's in fact a paddling pool. The only other negative experience we had was a whale watching boat trip which was recommended by the hotel and was awful. Overall it's a lovely place I look forward to going back to!

Cons: I would prefer not to have quite so much background music in the restaurants and bar.
My title says it all - it's a near pefect as you can get.

Cons: franchement je ne vois pas !
Location: rien de terrible dans le quartier il vaut mieux s orienté vers le centre ville très vivant
nous avons passé 1 semaine dans cet hôtel franchement je ne vois pas ce que l on pourrait lui reprocher? tout a été parfait,un cadre paradisiaque , des petits déjeuners hors normes, chambres spacieuse et luxueuse un de mes meilleur hôtel depuis que je voyage.restaurants au top. bref j y retournerai sans nul doute. bravo a tout le staff et au directeur de ce lieu magnifique.

Great staff, nice hotel.

Pros: Staff were terrific and the spa was relaxing.
Cons: Hotel is going to look dated soon. Needs to be freshened up.
Location: We had rain for both days so we did not wander far. Spa was nice. But lots of things to do nearby including the Volcano and parks.
Perfect service from the time we arrived in a rain storm and were immediately met by a nice guy with an umbrella who took care of our baggage and car quickly until the easy and friendly check out.

Lyxigt, bra med tre restauranger

Pros: Frukostbuffén helt fantastisk, förmodligen den bästa på hela Teneriffa. Spa-avdelningen mycket bra.
Cons: Servicen gällande väckning och frukost på rummet. Missades grovt vid vår hemresa den 13.03.2016 Rum 142: forsade vatten från taket över badkaret
Location: Besök den botaniska trädgården, 2 min. från hotellet. Loro Parq, mycket välordat
Avkopplande, tyvärr dåligt med sol den veckan vi var där.Besökte hotellets spa varje dag.

Perfect relaxation

Pros: It is spacious, and has lovely grounds. The hotel was only about 65% full, I think, but there was no hint of
Cons: The 'King-size' bed was two single beds together, which is not unusual, but the hotel should do better than to prvide two single duvets for bedcovers
Location: Lovely views (on sea side) but a steep climb back from the sea-front for less-than-fit guests
We came to Tenerife for sun and relaxation. We were disappointed by the relative lack of sunshuine - scarcely the hotel's fault! - but found the hotel to be everything one would expect from a 5* hotel. The staff were always helpful, the dining rooms and food were excellent and the facilities - particularly the spa area - were also exceptional.
