Amazing hotel. Every aspect is first class.

Pros: Everything.
Cons: Sunbed greed. People reserving 2 beds in sun for morning and another 2 beds on the opposite side for afternoon.
Location: Great location. A large shopping mall a 5 minute walk away or if you come out the bottom gate you can walk for miles along the front.
Our second visit to this hotel and we are already booked to go back at New Year. From the minute you arrive you are made to feel very special. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff at Salome. They do everything in their power to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Food at hotel is plentiful and very good. New addition this year was Sea and Soul restaurant which was amazing. Beds in the rooms are extremely comfortable and they now offer a pillow menu which is a great idea. The pool bar at Salome is extremely popular at lunchtimes offering a varied menu of good quality snacks and meals. Special mention to Richard who works in the pool bar he gives an excellent service to guests and was sorely missed on his days off.

Adult only luxury

Posted Feb 12, 2015
Pros: Food, staff every one is friendly and say hallo even if you have never seen them before. Pool is lovely warm when necessary and very clean.
Cons: Already mentioned the music upstairs, that' s all
Location: Hardly left the hotel as all we wanted was there. Walked along the coast.
Super stay with very attentive staff. Only slight criticism is the music in the bar upstairs is very similar and not very good.....but then we went elsewhere in the hotel.

Excellent adult only hotel.

This hotel is excellent, for accommodation, food and location next to the beach and close to shopping centre. All the staff are fantastic, could not fault it in any way. Will be going here again.

Pros: Everything. The staff were suburb especially Kim at arrival and Gilba out personal butler, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff.
Cons: All was great.
Location: Great location on the seafront, a few nice nearby restaurants & beach bars. Not too far in a taxi to visit the Safari centre in nearby Las Americas.
We had a great time at Iberostar Grand Salome, everything about it was top class. A great way to spend quality time with a loved one. Would we go again yes without a shadow of doubt. Loved the Cava through out the day and afternoon coffee and cakes. The sun loungers were the best ever so comfortable.

Highlights and Lowlights

Posted Dec 23, 2012
Pros: Clean, spacious and good view
Cons: Less than comfortable bed
Location: Tenerife is great for winter sun
Staff were attentive and responsive. But : - Don't eat the breakfast patisseries / bread, the birds are likely to have had their fill before you. - Mattress not very comfortable. - 'Activities' reception manned by only one person so be prepared to wait a long time or try again later if an option. - If you hire a car, be prepared to get lost trying to find way back to hotel
