An enjoyable 5 days at Roca Nivaria with our 2 year old son. It is a beautiful hotel, the staff were wonderful and we loved the pools and easy access to the beach. The nearby beach isn't particularly exciting, but still nice to be able to easily go down and swim in the waves. Same with the surrounding area - not very inspiring but enough restaurants and nice sunsets everyday! The hotel is very well set up for children, and the staff and facilities at the Kids Club were incredible. Definitely worth requesting a "quiet room" if you don't want to be listening to live music until 11pm every night - our first room was very noisy, but we requested to be moved after one night and that was handled very smoothly by the front desk.

The resort is very large and with that comes many benefits such as the range of fabulous pools for parents and children . The grounds are class and everywhere is kept so well. Our suite was perfect and very clean. The food was good not excellent. But there was a good range of options. Staff were very nice and helpful. The sound of the waves while sitting on your deck chair or in bed was blissful. Everything about this hotel is comfortable. And I would highly recommend. It is great with young children for the separate pool.area and climbing area and also the kids club. The people in the kids club were great with the kids. My husband really enjoy the tennis lesson with the coach. The rackets and balls provided by the hotel to play with yourself are rubbish and frustrating to play with. I find it really really strange at the pool bar that they service drinks and cocktails in paper cups as opposed to nice hard plastic ones that could be reused. They are loosing a lot of business through doing this in the 2 main pool bars. Strangely though you can get those glasses in the kids pool bar. The food at the pool bar wasnt good but like everywhere else the staff were. There is a lovely restaurant with good healthy food and juices just one min walk from the hotel entrance. The direct access to the beach from the hotel is claSS. I think it also would be good if they sold their own branded water bottles and provided free water refills. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I booked via Expedia and when you select your filters in the search, you have to put in the ages of the children. Well upon arrival, somehow Expedia sent info for under 1 for 2 children and since we flew there, we had to pay $1800 difference for 2 kids age 13 and under. Hiccup one. The dining options said there were restaurants, only one was open, book in advance and it was terrible food. The buffet was better but it was always the same thing for 3 meals a day. If the buffet was closed, there were zero options for food. All inclusive to me, as well as others, means the bars are open, snacks are readily available (not only at the one pool bar during a set time) and you get items in the room, room service etc. This was not the case. The pools were good, but don’t think there is a waiter coming around to see if you need anything. You always need your room key at meal times and if you want something from the pool bars. Many snacks are NOT included in the all inclusive. Our mini bar was not stocked every day we were there and it is only drinks. The first day there were pringles but after that- nothing. I had to make several trips down the street to the store for drinks and snacks during the days we stayed at the resort. If I had known I was going to be charged an additional $1800 upon arrival, I would have stayed at maybe the Hard Rock or a better resort, not 5 star resort anymore. You will need a car as there aren’t a lot of excursions you can do that will pick you up.

Beautiful grounds with a waterfall and infinity pool. Good variety of food at the breakfast and dinner buffets. Bought a national park and cable car trip to Mount Teide at reception. Perfect for young families. The Roniadventura section is great fun for children, with slides, climbing area, zip line and pool games. Staff at the mini club were great and can speak many languages. Lots of sunbeds with parasols, no need for the morning rush to try and secure a bed. Lots of variety at the main buffet restaurant with separate section for adults only. Kids have access to a small soft play and games room from this restaurant. Bouncy castle at night was a welcome feature for the kids too. Evening entertainment was ok, lots of singers, pianist and saxophonist. A shuttle bus runs each day to the Adrian hotel in centre of Adeje, which from there is only 5mins walk to the market (Thurs and Sat). Attentive friendly staff. Our room was spacious and spotless. If half board, I recommend buying a one off drinks package for the room which then gives you access to the fridge for the remainder of the stay. No iron in the room was the only negative but you can call reception and they organise this for you. Our room was a junior suite which had the separate sleeping area for children. This was perfect with lots of storage areas. Stunning ocean view from the balcony. Highly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely loved our stay at Roca Nivaria. If you're looking for a five star resort away from the hussle and bustle of the busier areas, Roca Nivaria is for you! Lovely hotel although disappointed with a few things . 1. All other 5 star hotels I have stayed in would provide nice quality products in the bathroom , there was not even a shower cap ! 2. fridge in room locked and could only be used if we upgraded to all inclusive !! 3.would expect complimentary water to be replenished every day as with other 5 star hotels we have stayed in, even if it was only used to make coffee /tea. unhygienic to be filling a kettle or coffee machine from a tap in the bathroom ! However we did find the hotel to be lovely . Staff pleasant and helpful. The aqua gym instructor was fab and really encouraging , looked forward to it every day .

We just came back from our 1 week holiday there as a family. We had a wonderful time there, the foods were absolutely delicious, the spa and facilities are amazing. The hotel looks a bit tired in some area and can do with some future improvement, but the facilites, the swimming pool and the staffs, the services all made up for it!! My little boy absolutely the kids slides in the waterpark and there's also a miniclub for exhausting parents! Evening performance is quite goo. Thank you so much to all the staffs who were all very welcoming and helpful, they also went above and beyond to upgrade our room, and even sent a bottle to the room on my birthday. We totally enjoyed our stay there and were very sad to leave. We look forward to coming back soon! Mr & Mrs Lindeman

Lovely hotel, great location, but not very warming. We were travelling with 6 other friends who were staying at another hotel. This hotel would not allow outside guests to share facilities. So we all went and spent the day at the Hard Rock hotel who accepted us with open arms, and yes we had lunch and bar drinks throughout the day.

Great hotel overall. Our room was very noisy however, we got a room right above the central party area on the 6th floor, we couldn't leave the balcony door open most of the time (until around midnight, kids, talking, music, lot of activities until late hours), it was also very annoying that people smoke on their balconies. Make sure you ask for a quiet room. The staff was very nice and helpful overall (5 stars), amenities are great, pools are clean, recommend the Spa and the Burgos restaurant, it's very nice and quiet, good fine dining spot for a change from the continental meals and crowd.

The children mini club was really good and kept our child very well entertained, giving us time to relax and enjoy the weather. Our son used to really look forward to going to the club and that speaks volumes of the staff that was accountable. We found our stay very relaxed and enjoyed facilities. The only thing that the hotel can work on is quality of drinks in general (the house wine with dinner was bad and cocktails also could be better). For dinner there was always variety but for me the sometime the taste was missing so I sticked with freshly grilled fish.

Had a fantastic family stay in Roca Nivaria, staff were very friendly and our kids enjoyed spending time with the animators. The views are amazing in all directions and it's further away from the hustle and bustle of Adeje town. The hotel is lovely and the pools and the grounds were very well kept and pretty x Our bedroom was spacious but thought it could have been better with decor and a little more modern felt a bit dated We were on all inclusive and food was very nice but would have been nice if they did more variety as it was a lot the same every day and maybe theme nights

Very relaxing stay
We stayed for a week on a half-board package in late November and really enjoyed it. There was reasonable distancing to make it enjoyable under the current conditions, both when eating and relaxing around the pool. The staff are all very friendly, and there is lots to entertain yourself with, from tennis to the spa. Even though the bedrooms seem a bit basic, you don't know this after the first day. If, like us, you simply want to relax in the sunshine for a week, you've a choice of pools and plenty of sunbeds and parasols - this is the perfect hotel for a relaxing getaway.

We just returned from an awesome vacation with my husband, two daughters (3 yo, 7 yo) and my husband's parents. We had a suite and a junior suite with the all-inclusive option. This was the perfect place for us as a couple, the kids, and elders. Cleanliness: this place is spotless! The rooms, pools, spa, restaurants, and all amenities are super clean. Cleaning staff are very helpful and super nice. Pools: there are two huge pools (one heated with salted water) with beautiful views of the ocean, one small pool for kids, and a water park which was the perfect place for my kids. There are life guards on duty for all pools as well. There is also an outdoor jacuzzi for adults. Restaurants: there are all you can eat buffets that offer variety of options for breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner. There are also other restaurants on the property that require reservation, We were not able to reserve these restaurants because they were fully booked for the whole week. Kids Club: the kids club was awesome! You can take your kids during the working hours anytime and stay with them while they play. Or, you can reserve child care hours and leave them with super nice and trained child care staff. Spa: the spa is very well maintained, super clean, and includes a number of options such as a Turkish bath, jacuzzi, dry/wet sauna rooms, a huge gym, and more. You can also book massages or hair and nail services. Overall, the perfect vacation. I highly recommend this resort!

Stayed here for four nights on an all inclusive basis. Buffet restaurant food was not the best and you can only get non premium brands from the bar included. Staff were great. Rooms were clean and spacious. Location was a bit remote also. Would I stay again…. No. I would rather try elsewhere.

Had a fantastic 10 days at the Roca particularly due to the awesome staff. A special thank you to Frederico, Miguel and Sara for looking after our family. The waiters and waitresses were all fantastic and very attentive they all work very hard wearing a mask at all times which must be difficult in the heat. Excellent Covid protection from room cleaning to buffet service and a varied menu for dinner catering well for all dietary requirements. Hotel staff made our stay very special- thank you all so much! Great team!! Would definitely recommend this venue.
