Waited 20 min for someone to show up at check in desk. Manager tried, didn’t know how to book someone in. Desk person really not interested in helping a customer. Walk in rate offered was far higher than Expedia, desk person didn’t offer any solution and said just book on Expedia… so I did.

Highly disappointed
I was shocked at the busted tiles in the shower and the hair on the floor….but then I went to use the hot tub and the condition/cleanliness issues got worse. There were no visible directions to even turn on the jets of the hot tub, the bottom was rust stained and the edges were filthy. The bed was hard and uncomfortable and the walls so thin I could hear every word spoken in the hallway. I booked this hotel due to the typical positive reputation of IHG hotels and for the hot tub. Huge disappointment. Do better!

Unfortunately one of the several rooms we reserved for New Years Eve was infested with cockroaches. The pool was filthy the water very murky. The hottub water turned BROWN mid evening. No towels were available in swim area. Very disappointing.

This hotel is magnificent. I judge quality of hotel's and take very seriously where I would allow my family to sleep for the night. Amazing pool and very modern room with plenty of amenities.

They said they ran out of towels and wash rags and I had to use my friends towel to dry off on !!😡 also Inhar to use the hand towel to wash with I refused to use someone else’s wash rag !!! We saw the leaning lady when we left the room and she had plenty of clean towels !!! uufghh

Safe area. Good breakfast spread and maintained property. Room had a piece of licorice on the floor and an old key card. Wasn’t the cleanest. Overall good stay.

We booked our stay at this hotel as it was indicated on Expedia that it is pet friendly. That is not the case. The hotel is not pet friendly and would not honor our reservation. We had to frantically find another hotel in the area. Very very frustrating experience - especially after a long travel day.

Missed the mark on just about everything
In my honest opinion, and because I choose hotels based on reviews left (within reason), I was completely disappointed with IHG on this location. They jacked up the price during an event weekend. I mean who spends over $250 on a basic 2queen room in Terra Haute?! (I used my rewards for this stay) & chose it based on high reviews. We stayed here for the Ride Across Indiana (well over 600 + people) event- they start early so we all have to leave by 5:30/6:00. We asked what time breakfast would be put out- “7:00am” okay- we leave early- can we have a grab and go option? - “ no, we don’t do that”. Bummer. How about coffee and tea? “No. But I will see what we can do.” I just visited over 10 hotels in the past two weeks on a road trip. Every single one offered, coffee, tea, and water in the lobby at all times. There was none here. Every ice machine on every floor was out of service. Front desk women were inconsiderate & not welcoming. No hospitality. Not enough towels or coffee for room occupancy. AC broken. 1 pillow per person - first time for that one. In the am they were setting up breakfast and had some fruit and muffins out (but lights were still off) I attempted to grab some and was told they are closed and not to go past her barrier (as she walked outside for her break) Yikes! Thankful- no bed bugs, and room seemed to be clean enough. Would not choose this hotel again. Dinner at steakhouse was wonderful but found out I could have shown rm key for discount.

Nasty Hotel
Tried to give us a different room than what we reserved. Then when we got a room like what we reserved the shower was dirty and the whole room smelled like mold. I would not recommend this holiday inn to any body!!

Kitchen sgtaff were great! I needed ice for our cooler and they got it for me and even gave me the little bucket with lid to take it out to my cooler. Wonderful ladies!!!
