Nice and cheap

No complains nice and cheap room is clean. Friendly staff. I stayed here for to weeks and everything is good.

Do not trust the pictures. This hotel is old, dirty, musty, and noisy. The air conditioner sounded like a car back firing and the toilet noisily ran the entire night.

Repeat stay

Pros: The location is close to everything...the food & shopping establishments. Also, close to the Federal Correctional Institute, where I visited my son.
Cons: Vacuuming the carpets would help...the dark brown rugs show lint & fuzz. It looks like it hasn't been done in a long time.
Location: Close to shopping, eating & traveling & the Federal Correctional Institute. Plenty of room for semi trucks & buses. Right off the expressway.
I stayed over 3 nights again, while visiting my son in the local FCI. Staff was very helpful, providing extra towels & toilet tissue for us when we needed. The carpets could use some vacuuming & some light bulbs replaced over the sink vanity. The fridge worked, however, the shelves were missing & you couldn't put anything in the door or it would fall out. This is my second extended stay here...the price & location are perfect for my needs. Front desk staff made sure the World Series game was switched on the cable box for us, we had free Wi-Fi & the breakfast was tasty. This motel sets off the main road, so it's secure & quiet. Thank you for a nice stay.

I have stayed at this super 8 in Terra Haute, Indiana for several years, it's clean, easily accessible from interstate, quiet, friendly staff and will be returning in the future.

Gouging

I know it was homecoming weekend but 195 a night was a rip off. The room and staff were very nice but can't believe Hotels get a way with that stuff.

During a special event the rates do increase at all hotels. I am sorry that you felt these rates were gouging our guests but it is not just our hotel it is all the hotels in the area. Noisy

Room was okay, sounded like the walls were paper thing as you could hear everything. Room fridge was noisy when the compressor kicked in so I had to unplug it

Checked in but never stayed. Local area, parking lot did not seem safe.
