Expensive hotel without the promised style

Posted Jan 29, 2018
Pros: near the slopes
Cons: Breakfast, Sauna, Restaurant
Location: Good restaurants nearby
The room was okay. The staff was not really helpful regarding booking tours in the Jackson area. They seemed not be educated very well. The hotel manager could offer more for the price the guests pay, even in the restaurant.

Close to the lift

The staff was really nice. The pool was heated. And the Jacuzzi and sauna hit the spot after a day of snowboarding.

Family ski vacation

Posted Jan 5, 2018
Great location, lovely staff. Older hotel which is cool but they are clearly trying to cut cost which is noticibly unsanitary. Provides toiletries appear to be refilled (dirty on the outside and crusted on the inside lids) they are not sealed but could be really old rather than reused. I also had to dig for a clean plate every morning at breakfast. The plates were all crusted with egg as though they weren’t washed but just scraped off and put back out. Food was decent and rooms were comfy enough. The bathrooms have their own separate heaters so prepare to freeze until the heater warms it up. Cookies for the kids when returning from skiing was awesome. And the ski storage at the front was a bonus too!

nice hotel, but you expect it to be a little dated

Posted Dec 28, 2017
Pros: (location, location, location) to the slopes, ski rental downstairs, complementary breakfast bar, and the dinning area upstairs.
Cons: the room heater/thermostat seemed flaky in #22, (stayed too hot)... we eventually just turned it totally off, and we were fine
the hotel and staff were great, but you should expect it to be a little dated considering it was built in the 60s

The hotel is in a nice location in Teton Village. Though it looks great from outside, looks rundown on the inside. Could use a thorough cleaning on the walls, carpet or a painting or recarpeting may be a better option.

Quaint Hotel In Jackson Hole

European flavored hotel. Excellent location right next to the tram. Rooms are small but cozy. Lots of space to place your belongs. Enjoyed complementary breakfast.

Beautiful -beneath snow covered mountain

Posted Oct 11, 2017
Pros: see above
Cons: see above
Location: Everything, hiking, biking, rafting, shopping in downtown.
First of all, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful surroundings, imagine waking up and looking out your window to the beautiful mountains. Then each morning a hot breakfast - everything you could possibly want - incl. warm cinnamon rolls, on warm mornings a beautiful fire in the fireplace with seating nearby. Also a walk outside and just taking in the beauty of the mountains which surround you. There is a bus to downtown Jackson Hole so you don't even have to drive but you want to drive to see the beautiful scenery. Only one disadvantage, elevator was not working and could have been bad for some people but we needed the 3rd floor walkup each day. Overall I highly recommend a stay here, almost like being in someone's home.

Very enjoyable and comfortable stay in Teton

Well maintained hotel with a European-themed decoration and atmosphere. Staff were friendly and very helpful, room was great, breakfast was delicious and location was perfect in the middle of Teton Village. Would stay again!
