Ski in and out service + indoor/outdoor hot tubs

Posted Feb 17, 2018
It says my family ‘s second vacation at this lodge. It is a fantastic family environment. The hot tub and indoor /outdoor pools are first class. The food and service and hotel atmosphere is exceptional. I highly recommend this lodge as it is one of my favorite of all high end ski lodges.

Overpriced motel room

Posted Jan 24, 2018
Pros: Spa area, ski valet.
Cons: Needs more experienced staff and management. All the staff seemed very young.
The picture makes it look like this hotel sits by itself under the mountains. Rather it is one of many hotels crowded in surrounding the base of Jackson Hole Ski Resort in Teton Village. It's a bit of a hike to the base and lifts, but you can mostly ski back (you have to cross a sidewalk). The room has a narrow entry way and the two queen beds take up most of the room. so not a lot of space to maneuver. There are no restaurants in the hotel, only a lounge and bar in the lobby. It does have a nice spa area with sauna, two hot tubs, and a semi heated pool. While we were there, a pipe burst and flooded the lower lobby area at about 8pm. An ear splitting fire alarm went off that no one could figure out how to turn off for about an hour. You couldn't stay in your room without earplugs, the sound was that bad. There was no communication by the young staff about what was going on, you had to suss it out for yourself. Guests should have been comped a night's stay, but instead were offered a breakfast coupon.

Staff are wonderful and helpful. Everything was great except for the buffet breakfast. Too expensive for what they offer.

Fall Vacation

Posted Oct 12, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Cleanliness and function-ability.
Location: Convenient to the Tetons. Limited restaurants. Had to drive 12 miles in town for meals. Food & drinks at the hotel was overpriced.
Average hotel. Could put a little more effort in the cleanliness and function-ability. Built in the 1960s and seems a bit dated in the accommodations. I wouldn't really label it as a "resort hotel". Staff was good when they were available.

Pictures are deceiving.

Staff was rude, rooms were exceptionally small, the entire hotel needs a makeover. Huge disappointment

We went for a trip to the Tetons. There is a back road that provides easy access to the park which is partly unpaved and rough. The road does provide easy access to the park and great hiking trails in the park. Jackson is 15 minutes away and the airport is 30 minutes. We would definitely stay again.

There was a $32.00 per day resort fee which provided no benefits. 2 free 16 oz bottles of water but only day of checkin. Expedia needs to inform folks of this additional fee. The room was very small . There were nicer rooms but not for expedia clients.
