Spring ski trip

Posted Mar 31, 2018
Snake River Lodge is a great place to stay. The rooms are comfortable, the staff is friendly and the resort is unique, it has a rustic western feel about it, which it should given it’s in the Rockies.

Not ski in/ski out like advertised

Posted Mar 30, 2018
Pros: In the village and relatively close to the slopes, Great Pool and very nice Staff. The ski Valet was convenient to leave boots &ski.
Cons: Have a place at the top of the stairs to pick up and leave the ski's. That walk up & down all those stairs was grueling with boots & carrying skis
Location: The Village has lots of shops and restaurants. The bus system got us to Jackson Hole which took about a half hour for $3. Jackson Hole is a must do.
Ski Valet is 3 flights of stairs from the mountain Lots of steps to start the day and to end. Happy Hour at 4 was great with free food for an hour. Be careful with the Breakfast buffet it was not well marked and I thought it was complementary. Staff was very friendly and helpful in giving great ideas for food and where to ski on the mountain. Only one elevator however so lots of waiting especially in the morning when everyone was trying to get out..

Ski in and out service + indoor/outdoor hot tubs

Posted Feb 17, 2018
It says my family ‘s second vacation at this lodge. It is a fantastic family environment. The hot tub and indoor /outdoor pools are first class. The food and service and hotel atmosphere is exceptional. I highly recommend this lodge as it is one of my favorite of all high end ski lodges.

Overpriced motel room

Posted Jan 24, 2018
Pros: Spa area, ski valet.
Cons: Needs more experienced staff and management. All the staff seemed very young.
The picture makes it look like this hotel sits by itself under the mountains. Rather it is one of many hotels crowded in surrounding the base of Jackson Hole Ski Resort in Teton Village. It's a bit of a hike to the base and lifts, but you can mostly ski back (you have to cross a sidewalk). The room has a narrow entry way and the two queen beds take up most of the room. so not a lot of space to maneuver. There are no restaurants in the hotel, only a lounge and bar in the lobby. It does have a nice spa area with sauna, two hot tubs, and a semi heated pool. While we were there, a pipe burst and flooded the lower lobby area at about 8pm. An ear splitting fire alarm went off that no one could figure out how to turn off for about an hour. You couldn't stay in your room without earplugs, the sound was that bad. There was no communication by the young staff about what was going on, you had to suss it out for yourself. Guests should have been comped a night's stay, but instead were offered a breakfast coupon.

Staff are wonderful and helpful. Everything was great except for the buffet breakfast. Too expensive for what they offer.
