It was inconvenient that hotel check-in was at 4pm, and we were shocked that our hotel room wasn't ready when we arrived at 4:30pm. I was asked to wait 5-10 minutes, but after waiting for over 20 minutes, I left my baggage behind as I had a busy meeting outside.I stayed at several hotels in various cities in Southeast Asia last month, but this was my first time experiencing such an extremely uncomfortable hotel. The employees weren't very sorry and were unfriendly. The hotel cost was not cheap at all. I also asked the reception to make the bed in our room, but I was really annoyed and angry when I saw that they didn't do it when we returned to the room. I was so tired that I just asked for a change of towels. Lastly, finding a hotel room is as inconvenient for travelers like us who came from the US with large and heavy luggage.

Loved this hotel. Had a few issues on check in but staff were amazing and upgraded us. Highly recommended. Would definitely go again.

Very dissapointed overall, shower gel empty, spoke to reception late afternoon, not refilled until the next afternoon after again reporting it in the morning. Next day bed was not made found it as we left it, had to ask for towels as only one left for 2 people. Next day bin not emptied and twa cups not cleaned, again not enough towels, had to collect at reception so house keeping was poor. The bar £15 for a double gin??? A bottle is £30, £12 for a large glass of wine and this is with Hilton Honours, really not impressed at all. Breakfast was good and thats the best bit. Overall not impressed at all. Staff were ok but got fed up with apologies, just provide the service Hilton used to be known for

It was newly decorated to a high standard. The bedroom were warm. They did put the heating on unlike other hotels. Lovely pool and breakfast. The only minor thing is the lack of directional signage around the hotel. At various corridor junctions and coming out of the lift there is no / or lack of signage to navigate. But it's no big deal at all.

Very enjoyable stay. Very comfortable room. Service really good service throughout the hotel. Lovely touch to receive a warm complimentary cookie when checking in! Food was very nice and a wide choice. Bar prices very expensive.

Worst doubletree I’ve been to
Honestly probably the worst hotel I’ve been to. I have been to many doubletree hotels, I travel quite a lot and stay in different places. This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel? To begin with out window was broken so we could hear all the noises from the motorway. Breakfast was mediocre, cold and lots of dirty plates. Many staff around but all too busy staring at each other instead of helping. Also, when we asked for some room service - unfortunately they don’t do that. On top of that we kindly asked to get our rooms cleaned, they just used to the old bedsheets and placed it back like we can’t notice that. Shampoo and shower gel never got refilled. Also, no AC in the rooms, is this a 4 star hotel. Honestly, I feel the the session management at Hilton should look into this hotel, I’m not trying to make you look bad. For future references and too keep more customers, these stuff must be fixed. Been to many Hilton hotels around the world and this was the worst. As a Hilton honors member I expect a bit more.

This is of the worst Double tree hotel that I’ve stayed at. Check in was fine. We got to the room and found it ok but dated. Realised that there was no hairdryer available in the room. On the way out, we informed the reception about it and was happy that they would take care of it. In the end, we were offered a room change. Which we took. The changed room had the hairdryer but you can see it was also dated. After we took a shower we realised that the shower gel container was empty. We informed the reception the next morning before we left for activities. Reception said it would taken care of. We returned that evening, took our shower n realised it was still not replenished. But a shower mat was placed in the tub. Perhaps there was some miscommunication. But then again, housekeeping did not look into this when they made up the room. Overall we found the room to be very dark, in fact the previous room as well. But as it was only for 2 nights we decided to leave it as it is. We had dinner in the restaurant on the day we arrived. We must say that serivce was quite bad…. Almost non existent. After our mains, we asked for our dessert. We waited and waited. After abt 30 mins or so we enquired again. Still nothing. In the end we cancelled our dessert as it was pointless waiting. You could see that other tables were also waiting for their drinks and food too.

Good hotel, helpful staff
Staff were very helpful and polite. The clearing of tables and empty glasses could be better. The spa was nice although the feature shower in pool area not working well and no ice in the ice bowl. The swim times for teens were very restrictive and unnecessary for weekend days and need to be reviewed - perhaps a quite hour at the beginning and end of the day instead of restricting family access. Clean comfortable room and amazing air conditioning - much needed and appreciated during the heatwave! Lovely stay overall. Thank you.

Every member of staff we came into contact with were wonderful and very helpful. The room was extremely hot and uncomfortable but that was due to the weather conditions and we were supplied with fans but didn’t help too much but again no fault of the hotel. We had booked these two rooms as a birthday treat for family members and choose your hotel purely on having the spa facilities. We went to spend a few hours in there but had a quick swim and sauna and left as the facilities were dreadful. Cracks on entering the pool, missing tiles in the steam room, broken ice bowl and unusable shower due to filthy conditions.
